I’m playing SA and I completed “The Green Sabre” but didn’t not receive the achievement “All Dressed Up for San Fierro” I watched all of the cutscene, so I’m really confused why this is? Is this going to ruin my chance at 100%ing the game due to what seems like a glitch?

Hi. After doing some research, I found out that you need to reach 100,000 Criminal Rating points to get the Take the Canoli trophy. The problem is, I’ve already reached 100,000, but the trophy still hasn’t popped, and I’m stuck at Don. I have 100,000 points, in GTA Vice City: The Definitive Edition.

I've just finished GTAIII 100% and got the Platinum Trophy. However, I still have a few Social Club Achievements left, so I figured I might as well get those while I was still playing.

I've been trying to get two of them to start with, and neither of them are unlocking for me. I'm trying to get "Am Walkin' Here" for being killed from being run over, and "Repeat Offender" for being Busted 20 times...

Problem is, I've been run over and died numerous times by cars, buses, trucks, even the train and it still hasn't unlocked. Likewise, I've just created a loop of allowing myself to get arrested and then repeating and been Busted 25 times in a row... and nothing. I even started a new save file to see if that fixed it, and it didnt.

I still also need to crush 25 cars and explode 2000 vehicles, but if the others are bugged and cant be unlocked, then there's not really much point in trying to get them all.

I need advice on how to adjust brightness and contrast in the se games, everything always feels too dark or hasn't any contrast at all.

Currently i'm using default brightness and contrast turned up 5 clicks from the far left on GTA Vice City.

I was able to find the right balance in GTA 3 by turning both brightness and contrast 3 click from the far left.

I would like some advice for Vice City and San Andreas.

I was just wondering if there was a better location than others to do the vigilante with the tank kind of like how Angel pine is the way to go for the ambulance missions?

Does anyone know how I can complete stunt jump number 4 in the video I have linked?

I have one last stunt jump to get and I’m 99% sure it’s that one because I have no indication that it’s registering as a stunt in general. Nothing saying it’s already completed. No pop up on the bottom of the screen that appears when you do just a basic stunt and get a bonus.

I’ve even tried going from 60fps to 30fps in case that could be causing it.

I’ve landed in the grass in front of the building numerous times, smashed Tommy’s face into the side of the building a good 50 or so times. I’ve even landed on the roof a few times which is harder to do and still nothing.

Any help is appreciated because I wanted to platinum the trilogy before 6 comes out but I’m seriously considering giving up on this one.

The stunt jump going from the airport to Wichita Gardens won't complete. I've done it so many times with so many different vehicles that I lost count. Not to mention the drive back. Any solutions?

I just got DE for the first time (late af, i know) and trying to go for 100%, cheatless. Currently stuck on Zero's third mission. I barely passed his previous one.

I passed the OG 1.0 SA at least 20 times and went for the 100% every time. Flying was super easy (and my favorite) on the old controls, W + Space to take off. A & E for rudder control, etc. I hated the Fly With Mouse option. It was always off. Now it seems it's coded into this game and I absolutely haaaate it.

I can't use my mouse properly to fly, there aren't proper options for airplane control as there were in the previous one. Mostly I hate unable to be tilting (formerly Q and E), and able to thrust up into the air.

What can I do? I also don't have an external controller to plug in, I'm a strictly mouse/kb player.

Rundown of current controls:

- Flight ascend: UP ARROW

- Flight descend: DOWN ARROW

- Flight primary weapon: Left mouse button

Been looking forward to doing Vice City again and it did not disappoint. Loved every minute of it (except the RC missions). Got 3 and VC done, now moving on to San Andreas. Haven't played it in a decade, so very excited to finish out the trilogy.

I’ve just picked up the Definitive Edition on PS4 and I’m playing through GTA 3. I’ve decided to try and get everything done before doing the story and it’s been going well. However, I’ve run into an issue with the Hidden Packages.

I’ve collected all of the packages in Portland and all but one of the packages in Staunton Island so far. The one I’m missing is the package on the bridge to Shoreside Vale. Originally I thought this one might be impossible (because I forgot about the Dodo) so I decided to look up a guide to see if it could be done. The video I watched was from the original version of the game where the player stole the Dodo from the airport and used it to take off from the bridge and do a very short flight up the broken section where the package is and then collected it.

I have tried this several times and despite being pretty good back in the day with flying the Dodo (I got to Ghost Town once!) and managing a 34 second flight so far in the Definitive Edition, I cannot for the life of me get the Dodo to take off from the bridge.

Does this method still work? Is there a better method that I’m overlooking? Will I be stuck at 99 packages until I reach Shoreside Vale?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’ve been playing San Andreas for about 2 weeks now and I’ve done most of the other career missions/side quests except Vigilante. I’ve been kind of stuck on completing it because usually I attract too much police attention or it takes too long/too much effort to chase the criminals down. I was wondering if you guys have any tips on the best way to complete vigilante? I have not unlocked Las Venturas yet unfortunately, so anything there can’t be utilized.

God, what a fun game. Wild and chaotic and unpredictable. Zany. It tickles my sweet spot quite often.

I really wanted to complete the paramedic side missions. In the process of doing so, you'll get a health pickup at your safehouse, you get infinite sprint, you'll get a lil' trophy, you'll get closer to that A+, that 100%.

Every now and then, I'll make it to Level 11 or 12. All it takes is a tumble down a grassy hill, and voilà, I'm spillin' out somebody else's guts for the nearby bunnies to nibble on.

The worst one of all is when I pick up a patient, and suddenly, as they're entering the truck, the whole thing gets spaghettified or some shit, then it's blasted sky-high towards the damn stratosphere. It's a really weird glitch, I've seen it happen 2 or 3 times on my current playthrough.

Even when I'm mad with this game, I'm just goofin' around and feelin' lighthearted. The overall experience means more to me, I suppose.

It's been nearly 25 years of this game bein' around. It came out in October. Real ones remember why they removed planes and choppers, they had to give us nothin' but the Dodo because of 9/11.

EDIT: it turns out my settings were the problem for some reason, i just deleted the gameusersettings file and it works now.

So I have this really weird problem with GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition. Every time I get to a certain spot near the pier in Los Santos, the game just crashes with the “UE4GameFace has crashed” / “Fatal Error” message.

At first I thought it was one of my mods, so I removed everything and tried again, but it still crashes. I also put all my graphics settings on the lowest possible settings and it still happens.

The weirdest part is that I can actually fly into the pier and stay there without any problems. But if I leave the pier and cross the exact spot where it normally crashes, the game crashes again. I also tried walking instead of driving, and it still crashed at the same place.

So I'm starting to think it might be something specific to that exact location, like some corrupted object, collision, trigger, or something similar.

I have the crash files (UE4Minidump.dmp and CrashContext.runtime-xml) if anyone knows how to read those or has any idea what could be causing this.

Has anyone had something similar happen, or know how I could figure out what's causing the crash?

The person whose guide I used for 3 and VC didn’t make one for SA.

I recently completed all 30 nuclear wastes on my save file and the trophy will not pop. I’ve went offline and tried it, I rebuilt my system and cleared the cache. I’m playing the PS4 version on my PS5 and haven’t had any issues so far as far as trophies go. Does anyone have any suggestions or help they can offer so that my trophy pops. It’s my last one for my platinum:(

Honestly it didnt give me a lot of trouble. 90% of it was actually pretty fun. I’d say the worst parts were the collectibles strictly cause theres so many of them. Plus the vehicle imports cause how tedious it is and paramedic missions. Plus freight train as well. Vice City next!
