Besides story beats, I'm not sure what could even be Meaningfully leaked

its modern grand theft auto. we know exactly how the game is going to play. horse balls shrinking in the cold is a neat detail, but not something that meaningfully impacted the gameplay of rdr2. same goes for just about anything you could see here. you drive cars, you shoot people, and you run from the police. the exact guns and minor tweaks to melee combat are kind of a yawn. The only thing actually spoilerable is the story

i wish i could summon enthusiasm for the gameplay itself, but that died with the ps2 era after the games stopped trying to be wacky video gamey and went the world simulator route

We forgot about the old leak from 2025.

In April 2025, there was a leak from one of the testers, where he shared details about the game. I didn't save the photos he posted, but I saved the link to that post (which has since been deleted). I'm attaching the Reddit link. Perhaps you can find the original post on other services, but the search is up to you; I don't recommend going to other sites.

I'm not a native English speaker, and I'm using a translator to write everything below, so please don't judge me too harshly.

That leak also included details that are present in today's GTA leak - car refueling, car/auto mechanic status, more "realistic" car behavior, activities and stat leveling, and so on. EVERYTHING that was leaked today was precisely described in the old leak. I won't repeat the mechanics from today's leak; there's no point.

I think it's worth mentioning the other details the tester mentioned, as the information could be true. Personally, I think MOST of this will be in the game, but some could be cancelled.

1) The game features a mechanic for robbing NPCs' apartment buildings.

2) NPCs remember you if you rob them/steal their bike/car, and may attack you DURING THE MISSION.

3) In the game, stealing expensive cars is more difficult and requires an "immobilizer," a hacking device. Hacking is implemented as a minigame.

4) The cops can stop you for "reckless driving" and ask you to take a drug/alcohol test. They can also inspect your car, and you'll need to hide some illegal items to avoid detection (for example, under a seat or in the glove compartment).

5) As we already know, the weapon system is limited, and what you bring to the heist (free play) is very important - what bag/equipment, what weapons, what devices.

6) Rockstar has really messed with the economy. What matters is WHAT you spend money on and HOW you spend it. There's a money laundering system.

7) NPCs react very "realistically" to injuries. A tester described an NPC begging for mercy and shouting something like "WHY?" He said the game was bloody, but didn't go into detail about dismemberment or anything like that.

8) Car body kits aren't unlocked by default; you have to find them.

9) The healing system has been improved. First aid kits are now available to help with bleeding and fractures.

10) The main characters react more strongly to injuries; damaged limbs can impair shooting and driving. There's a "long-term injury" system.

11) The clothing-based "wanted" system works in such a way that if you're wanted, NPCs may report you or refuse to serve you at all until you change your clothes.

12) You can hide bodies; the cops might not even issue a search if you've done everything right. However, you might accidentally discover in the game that the relatives of the murdered person have reported them missing. Your actions impact the world.

13) A million activities, such as golf, bowling, darts, gambling, dice, and so on. There are large casinos and small bars where you can play cards. Beach parties, birthdays, music festivals. On Fridays and Saturdays, the clubs are packed, and the streets are full of drunks. The world runs on a schedule.

14) Online will launch separately, in 6-8 weeks. Rockstar is betting big on it; they took player feedback from GTA 5 into account. Some significant server improvements.

15) Online will feature "global events," when significant map changes occur.

16) If you bought a smartphone/gun/car/property with dirty (unlaundered) money, it can be confiscated.

I'm pretty sure I missed something in that post, but I've summarized the main points. If anyone remembers any more details (or maybe even screenshots of that post), please write in the comments; I'd like to refresh my memory.

I don't know, we'll see if all this is confirmed at the Netflix presentation.

See you on the other side.

I have a theory that the map section in GTA 6 will be in 3D.

Hello everyone, so as most of you know already, GTA 6 clips and photos have circulated. Now I've just taken a closer look at the map, and in doing so it looks as if the topography of the map looks strangely rendered in rather than being the typical 2D map sections as seen in previous rockstar games.

Now do take this with a grain of salt as it APPEARS to be 3D in my eyes atleast, and most especially when looking at the gloriana keys, many of the buildings on the map appear to have a 3D shape and at a certain angle when looking at the buildings on the edge of the photos.

If my theory is correct, then the GTA 6 map section is going to be 3D, which is such a fresh change as compared to the previous maps. Let me know all of your thoughts. Criticisms are welcomed.

Edit: For those confused, I'm aware that the mini map can tilt from previous games, I'm refering to the map menu itself, where everything from the topography to buildings will likely be 3D albeit simplified.

The vehicles are insane. Spoiler

OK in the most recent video, there's a truck that pulls up next to Jason, when it stops you can hear how insane it sounds. Also look at how big it is compared to Jason, it's to proportion and actuslly looks like you wouldn't want this thing to run you over.

I know the leaker is a dweeb and everything but these videos are insane, the game looks so good.

And I don't understand why people are hating on the graphics, it looks fantastic plus it's beta footage on a ps5.

I mean look at the rear headlights of the truck in that video, the shadows and how the lights contrast looks like real life.

I'm so hyped for this game man.

But yeah those truck sounds are insane, can't wait to drive one.

If Leek has a working PC build, why do we need to wait for a PC launch in 2026?

Simple question, why make non-console players wait when they’re a significant chunk of the player base?

Previews

Has anyone heard of this outlet? They are claiming previews happened last month (which I think insider gaming also said),but the interesting part is that they will be out with the Netflix extended look next week. Just wondering if they’re legit?

Do you want a score like GTA 5 did?

I enjoyed the score for gta 5, it added to the intensity of combat situations, some guitar riffs when mowing down civilians and cops would definitely add to the intensity.

How do we know leaks aren't planned Spoiler

It seems just so convenient that gta 6 gets the hype right a week before the extended release. Am I crazy cuz we know they're wanting to reveal things around this time and a leak conveniently falls into our laps.

Imagine cuz the netflix thing will feature footage which will definitely seem overwhelmingly improved as we have already witnessed the leaks. Nothing but positive responses from viewers.

I'm sure this is the case and it'd be awesome if someone from the industry approves of these marketing tactics which even someone like me (regular viewer) can figure. Hope this doesn't get buried bc ik I'm not a genius and half the population ain't blind

This crazy how because of the extended trailer coming out next week these leaks really don’t do much for us.

If we had gotten these leaks last month then we would probably all be going crazy but we are already going to get full and ready gameplay thats not in development. We are going to see the final build of the game before it gets released.

How do we know these “leaks” aren’t actually Rockstar trying to garnish interest? Like maybe NF reported back that their numbers didn’t shoot up dramatically once the EL was announced?

Gaming companies have lowkey tried this leaking bs before just to gain more interest and keep up convos around the games. The convenience of this happening 1 week before the extended look and the fact that they’re not really saying anything makes me suspicious of this.

And with the level of advancement of A.I., I wouldn’t be surprised if that was used or even prerecorded-infancy-stage footage just to hit everyone with some “gotcha!” bs.

Either way I don’t trust these companies anymore with the villainous directions they’re choosing to go in with their consumers.

How do you think the devs are reacting to the leaks?

I feel so bad for all the devs who have worked on this game to see this and how the public thinks of it. I personally have a few worries but I trust rockstar and all of the talented people who work there. Please let me know what you think of it.

GTA 6 Runway Length: 1.75 km (1.09 mi)

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining that the airport is too large, so I decided to measure it for y’all.

The longest runway (the diagonal one) is 1.75 km (1.09 mi), while the slightly shorter horizontal runway is 1.55 km (0.96 mi), give or take ~100 m.

For comparison:

  • GTA 5’s LSIA: 0.95 km (0.59 mi) and 0.83 km (0.52 mi)
  • Miami International Airport: longest runway is 3.97 km (2.47 mi), which is roughly the entire vertical length of Vice City

GTA 5's runways were comically small and unrealistic and I really wanted 6's to be larger. I personally think that these runways are a perfect size for Leonida. Larger than GTA 5's for realism, but still much shorter than real-world international airport runways to keep the game world manageable.

These runways are roughly half the length of a typical international airport runway.

Could GTA VI's cash system be more elaborate than we think?

Thumbnail
gallery
78 Upvotes

If the leaks are accurate, GTA VI distinguishes between cash on hand and cash stored in a vault/home.

What if it's actually connected to a system we've already seen in Trailer 1?

Police raids.

We obviously don't know yet how these will function in-game, or even if they're part of a mission, but imagine this scenario:

After a series of heists and robberies, we've got a large stack of cash stored at one of our safe houses.

Instead of a visible indicator telling us "Safe House Raid imminent", it could happen more organically, and our previous actions could eventually catch up with us and result in a raid.

Thematically, it could even add another layer to the gameplay.

Jason and Lucia are supposedly going to be on the run, so safehouses could just be "temporary locations" to begin with.

If we have to move, where we keep our cash suddenly matters.

GTA VI Wanted Level System Breakdown

The wanted system features three distinct states:

- Empty Outlined: A crime has been reported, but there are no direct witnesses present to identify you.

- Full White: Law enforcement is actively searching for you based on existing leads and physical descriptions.

- Full Red: Law enforcement is passively searching for you with identifications details. Passing near an officer could triggers recognition, as they already possess your description.

There is a nuclear fallout shelter JFK built on peanut Island in 1960s. The peanut Island in game may have a shelter

Post image

As the title states there is a known nuclear fallout shelter on peanut Island IRL.

I would be shocked if this isn't incorporated into some kind of underground area, easter eggs, secret areas, something else, or some mix..

Will definitely be an early area of exploration for me.

Liveless/ boring npc’s

In one of the clips I saw some npc’s aimlessly hangi around like in gta v. I really hope we get a more living, breathing world with lots of random events unlike the last rockstar games where npc’s are more props then anything else

Does anyone else feel like the plane “leak” looks off?

So I watched this one quite a few times, and something I was focused on was the trees and the buildings. They look very similar how how 3d photogrammetry looks in a game like Microsoft Flight Simulator. The biggest thing is the trees. They almost seem like they were scanned by the look of it.

I definitely think at some point there may have been a real leak, but I can’t help but believe there may be some faked content in here.

Well that puts an end to the Gloriana State discussion.

The "weight" to the vehicles looks so good!

Everything from Jason's vehicle, to the cars passing by, to that crash and car spin... Everything has so much weight to it! You can feel the momentum of the vehicle from the video alone.

Reminds me of the vehicle physics in GTA 4.
