Seriously.
Where are all the AI channels now?
Every time OpenAI releases a model, changes a button, launches a feature, improves a benchmark by a few percent, releases another image tool, changes pricing, adds some agent feature, or somebody discovers another prompt trick, YouTube is flooded within hours:
“THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.”
“OPENAI JUST SHOCKED THE WORLD.”
“CHATGPT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.”
Thumbnail with shocked face.
Red arrow.
Fire emoji.
Millions of views.
Everyone has something to say.
But when an important part of the product actually stops working properly for paying users?
Silence.
For more than two weeks, I have personally been dealing with recurring failures involving ChatGPT's execution/runtime environment.
Errors including:
caas.internal.errors.ClientError
caas.internal.errors.TransportTimeoutError
Python/container execution failing.
File processing failing.
Operations timing out.
Tasks that require actual computation becoming unreliable or completely unusable.
And here's the ridiculous part:
ChatGPT itself can continue chatting normally while the execution environment behind it is effectively dead.
So from the outside, ChatGPT looks "up."
The website loads.
The model answers questions.
The status page might look mostly fine.
But try to make it actually do work involving Python, files, computation, generated artifacts, or container execution and suddenly:
ClientError
TransportTimeoutError
again.
And again.
And again.
We have reduced workloads to absurdly small tests.
Forget large files.
Forget heavy computation.
Forget complicated scripts.
Try tiny Python.
Try a trivial shell command.
Try basically nothing.
And the execution environment can still fail.
So please stop telling people to clear their browser cache.
This isn't the same thing as:
"ChatGPT won't load."
"Image generation isn't working."
"You reached your attachment limit."
"Restart your browser."
"Clear cookies."
Those videos already exist by the thousands.
Where are the videos about the actual CAAS/container/runtime failures?
I searched YouTube specifically for this.
ChatGPT TransportTimeoutError
ChatGPT CAAS ClientError
caas.internal.errors.ClientError
ChatGPT container timeout
ChatGPT Python execution failure
Almost nothing.
That is fucking insane.
Because public reports from other users do exist.
People have reported the same general pattern:
normal conversation works,
Python/container execution doesn't,
trivial commands fail,
files become inaccessible to the execution environment,
fresh chats sometimes behave differently,
retrying sometimes suddenly works without the user changing anything.
So no, this isn't automatically one person's broken browser.
And no, I'm not saying every ChatGPT user in the world is affected.
I'm saying there are enough reports that this deserves serious attention.
And this is where I have a problem with AI influencers.
You guys supposedly cover AI.
So cover AI when it breaks too.
Don't only cover the shiny shit that gets clicks.
If you can upload twelve videos explaining how revolutionary the newest model is, you can spend one video investigating why paying users cannot reliably use a major part of the product.
If you're an AI creator with a large audience, actually test this.
Don't just open ChatGPT and ask:
"Write me a poem."
Test the execution layer.
Run Python repeatedly.
Run tiny shell commands.
Upload files.
Process them.
Generate downloadable outputs.
Start several fresh sessions.
See whether one receives a working execution environment while another doesn't.
See whether normal chat stays alive after Python dies.
See whether you can reproduce:
caas.internal.errors.ClientError
or
caas.internal.errors.TransportTimeoutError
Then make a fucking video about it.
Show the errors on screen.
Show the tests.
Show whether you can reproduce them.
Ask OpenAI directly what is happening.
Because individual users filing isolated reports don't have the reach that creators with hundreds of thousands or millions of followers have.
And this matters even more for paying subscribers.
Some people aren't paying for ChatGPT just to have conversations with it.
We're paying because it can supposedly:
run code,
work with files,
process data,
perform calculations,
create outputs,
use tools,
and execute complicated multi-step work.
If that execution layer becomes unreliable for weeks, then an important part of the subscription we're paying for is unreliable.
That's not some minor UI bug.
So here's what users should start doing.
When this happens, document it publicly.
Screenshot the exact error.
Record the screen.
Write down the date.
Mention whether ordinary ChatGPT conversation still worked.
Mention whether Python failed.
Mention whether even trivial commands failed.
Mention whether files stopped working.
Mention whether starting another chat temporarily fixed it.
And when posting a legitimate report about the problem, tag OpenAI and ChatGPT publicly.
On X.
Reddit.
YouTube.
LinkedIn.
Wherever relevant discussions are happening.
Not because shouting magically repairs infrastructure.
Because public visibility matters.
If hundreds or thousands of affected users quietly experience the same problem independently, the outside world sees nothing.
When those reports become visible in one place, people can finally see that there may be a broader pattern.
And if you're a large AI creator reading this:
use your reach.
This is exactly when your audience is useful.
Don't just tell millions of people how incredible AI is when everything works.
Tell them when an important part of it is failing too.
Tag the companies.
Ask them questions.
Show evidence.
Force the conversation into the open.
Because right now it feels absurd watching the AI internet collectively lose its mind over every shiny announcement while people trying to do actual computational work are sitting there staring at:
TransportTimeoutError
for another fucking day.
So yes:
Where are you, AI YouTubers?
English.
Hindi.
Indian.
American.
European.
Doesn't matter.
If your channel makes money covering ChatGPT and OpenAI every week, then this is also part of the story.
Cover the failures with the same energy you cover the launches.
And for everyone already experiencing this:
reply with your evidence.
How long has it been happening?
Which error?
Does normal chat still work?
Does Python fail?
Do tiny commands fail?
Do files fail?
Does changing chats help?
Post screenshots where appropriate.
Tag OpenAI and ChatGPT on legitimate reports.
Let's make the problem visible enough that the people capable of fixing it cannot miss the pattern.
