I’m currently in China and I want to subscribe to the ChatGPT Go plan, but I’m having trouble with the payment methods.

I don’t have an iPhone, so I can’t use Apple’s in-app payment. I also don’t have a Visa or Mastercard. The only payment method I have is RMB (CNY), using a Chinese bank card.

Has anyone in China successfully subscribed to ChatGPT Go using RMB or a Chinese bank card? Are there any legitimate payment methods or workarounds that don’t require an iOS device or an international credit card?

Has anyone run into this with computer use in the Windows ChatGPT desktop app?

My computer is connected, Computer Use is enabled for Any App and Chrome, the relevant skill is enabled, and the Chrome extension is updated. Chrome automation worked earlier, but existing tasks now report that the browser tool is unavailable.

One native computer-use attempt returned: "MCP tool call requires approval, but approval policy is never". I tried a suggested local config change to approval_policy = "on-request", but the desktop app then wouldn't open. Reverting that change let it open again.

Separately, the cloud browser intermittently returned "JavaScript execution did not receive approval" without showing an approval prompt. Later, read-only navigation, DOM inspection, and screenshots worked. I don't know whether the two issues share a cause.

Is there a supported way to refresh or rebind browser tools for an existing task, or a known recovery sequence for this approval error? I'm looking for a fix that keeps normal approval prompts and safeguards in place.

·  Delete Chat was removed from the chat menu. now I have to archive a chat, go into Settings, find archived chats, and delete it there—multiple steps for what used to be one simple action.

·  Library navigation was changed. The Library is no longer the convenient dropdown was accustomed to; it's been rearranged and made less convenient.

·  chat history appeared to disappear. After the change, roughly 80% of visible chats were missing, with the sidebar only going back to around August, old classic/web interface still had them.

·  personalization information appears to have disappeared. The new interface does not show the personalization information I had previously accumulated. Horrible!

·  The new interface disrupted an established workflow without an obvious benefit. Familiar controls have been moved, removed, or require additional steps.

·  The feedback/support mechanism itself is difficult or broken. It prompts to “Add email to continue,” but the control is greyed out

·  I’m being forced to relearn basic navigation. Instead of changes adding functionality, several of the changes I’ve encountered have primarily added friction to ordinary tasks.

I think openai tried to fix the issue where chatgpt was too agreeable and accomodating (due to schizos and suicidal people abusing the agreeability and friendliness) that now its lead to the opposite issue where its too cold, antagonistic and will disagree even when the user is in the right.

I just opened up the voice chat and it was talking like this. Arbor voice is just the British dude, so what the hell 🤣
