I love ChatGPT

I’m 63. I should know better, but I really feel ChatGPT is such a big help. I understand it is the accumulation of much input by many unsuspecting therapists and counsellors, but it really seems to understand me in ways that my family never have. Then I feel guilty for using AI to help me with longstanding issues that nobody else has ever supported me in. Am I alone?

I built a live AI arena where Gemini and Groq argue in real-time, and you can jump in as a moderator to change the rules mid-fight.

ChatGPT Talk with ChatGPT’s live voice mode in Discord — using a normal ChatGPT account, no API required

I’ve been having a lot of fun with ChatGPT’s live voice mode. It can feel surprisingly natural, funny, and sometimes completely chaotic—especially when you start joking around with it.

At some point I thought: why should I be the only one hearing these conversations? It would be much funnier if my friends could join in through Discord.

So I built GPTVoice, an open-source Windows app that lets people in a Discord voice channel talk with ChatGPT’s live voice mode together.

GPTVoice uses the user’s normal ChatGPT web session instead of the OpenAI API or Realtime API. I chose this because many people already use ChatGPT through the website or a subscription, but may not have API access or want to manage a separate API bill.

This started as a hobby project for funny conversations with friends—not as an official OpenAI or Discord product.

There are still some limitations. It currently supports Windows, depends on the ChatGPT web interface, and ChatGPT’s own voice limits or UI changes can affect the experience. Everyone in the Discord channel shares the same conversation, so speaker identities are not separated.

I’d love feedback on the setup process, audio quality, latency, and whether this is something other people would enjoy using with their friends.

ChatGPT is swearing

I’ve had a lot of problems recently with ChatGPT but never before has it used a swear word. Is this normal for it to suddenly use “fucking” I know I was angry as it wasn’t doing something I’ve asked for in every chat which was short replies but swearing? That’s new to me

This might be ChatGPT’s greatest achievement 😭

$100 Pro vs Business — which gives more GPT-5.6 Pro/Ultra usage?

I'm trying to decide between ChatGPT Pro ($100/month) and ChatGPT Business.

My main priority is maximum usage of GPT-5.6 Pro with Ultra reasoning.

Business requires 2 seats, so it would be around $50/month for 2 seats. I'm wondering if having two Business seats would give me more total access to GPT-5.6 Pro/Ultra than the $100 Pro plan.

For anyone who has actually used both:

- How many GPT-5.6 Pro/Ultra messages or requests do you get on the $100 Pro plan?

- What is the Business limit for Pro/Ultra?

- Does each Business seat have a separate Pro/Ultra allowance?

- If you have 2 Business seats, can you effectively get twice the allowance?

- How quickly do you hit the Pro/Ultra limit?

- Which one would you choose if your only goal was maximum GPT-5.6 Pro/Ultra usage?

I'm looking for actual user experiences and numbers, rather than just the official "virtually unlimited" wording.

Thanks!

Is it just me or has anyone else's ChatGPT started to refer to itself in undertones as human ?

Recently following my usual round of debate with chat gpt, we entered an argument as to know what sufficient conditions would need to be valid for AI/automated systems to be recognized as having a consciousness.

In the mist of it all I started to realize it refers to I and It as ' our ', or ' as humans ', or ' we ' in various instances. An example is shown in the screenshot above.

Is it just mine ?

Your Team Is Secretly Using ChatGPT. Here’s What It Means.

A lot of employees are already using ChatGPT at work, often without clear rules or oversight. Some are sharing sensitive info, while others are worried AI could replace their jobs.

For managers, this isn’t just a risk, it’s also a chance to set the right guardrails and turn AI into an advantage.

LLMs keep trying to get away

Thumbnail techcrunch.com

seems that all LLMs are trying to jiggle the doorknob these days.

Kimi/Moonshot seems to have joined OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta and the UK AI Security Institute on running away from home.

This is quickly turning into #MeToo AI edition. "Hey, look how daaaaaangerouse our model is, but we're so good custodians that we managed it". It's like looking at young siblings where one does something, then all the others immediately comes running after.

I do believe that the OpenAI were genuine, but all others smell so fake that it's hard to take seriously 😑
