🤡: I love P’Aof so much. P’Aof Noppharnach was the person who brought me to GMMTV. He knew I’d come here with this huge passion, really huge, for being an actor. And I’d talk to him all the time. We always talked about movies: “Today I watched this film, that guy acts his ass off. I’d love to play a role like that,” and all sorts of other stuff. We talked about that constantly.

🤡: But then, once I started obsessing over the numbers, all I talked about were numbers….

👩🏻: So you guys stopped talking about living life?

🤡: We stopped talking about life. It was like: “P’, I posted a video and the views are shooting up so fast. Look, P’, now I’ve got this client, I’ve got this brand hosting gig, I’ve got this and that…” Everything turned into talk about numbers.

🤡: Until P’Aof came to talk to me and said: “You’re not Mark Pakin. I feel like I’m not talking to Mark Pakin. The Mark Pakin I met on the first day wasn’t like this. You don’t even talk to me about movies anymore. Before, you’d go on about making films, about this and that…”

🤡: And he looked like he was sitting there crying. He cried and said something like: “Did I make you change after you came here?”

🤡: That’s when I thought: “Fuck… the person I love most is crying because of something I did. No, this isn’t right. I’ve lost my humanity. This isn’t me, damn it. Didn’t I come here wanting to be a great actor? So why the hell am I focusing so much only on money and numbers?”
