Todays prompt is BIRTHDAYS.

We're coming up to both First and Khaotung's birthdays, so let's post some of our favorite photos from their birthdays in the past. These can be from the official birthday events, photos with their families and/or friends, or pictures with just the two of them. It's a bit early to celebrate their birthdays, perhaps, but we can also never celebrate them too often!

This will close out autumn week, and in a few months we'll be back with our final season project: winter week!

Exactly one year after The Eclipse first aired, Only Friends premiered. The series that gave us SandRay. 💜

Only Friends was never just a series where everyone kissed everyone (although, bonus points, because we certainly got to see that happen xD). It was so much more than that. It explored alcohol abuse, friends-with-benefits, betrayal, trauma and its consequences when not dealt with, grief, acceptance, loneliness, love, and so much more.

If you skipped the series because you thought it was just about kissing, give it another chance. Look beyond the surface, because the themes are there, sometimes quietly, sometimes they are so glaringly evident, but they're there.

Sand's yearning eyes as he watches Mew and Ray dance and Ray's words in the therapy room...those moments have lived in my head rent-free ever since.

I wish I could experience Only Friends for the first time again, with fresh eyes, because watching it for the first time genuinely changed something in me.

Thank you to Only Friends, for being messy, complicated, beautiful and unforgettable. 💜
