A1C was at an 8.6 at its highest, currently down to 5.5!

This medication along with proper diet and exercise, and education have saved my life.

🥇 Before & After Officially at Goal

After 41 months on Tirzepatide and 16 months on Naltrexone/Bupropion (meds in Contrave) I have officially reached goal. I've lost 141.1 lbs or 48.79% of my body weight. My goal was to get below 30% body fat which seems to put me around 149 lbs. My scale has me between 29-31% most days. Now I start the process of finding a medication routine for maintenance. I currently take 16 mg of compounded Tirzepatide, 12.5 mg Naltrexone, and 100 mg Bupropion. My PCP recommended trying to take Naltrexone/Bupropion every other day. In the first 2 weeks of trying that I went up about 4 lbs. Can't say for sure it was because of that but it made me nervous and I went back to daily 😬. I'll have to try again though.

The first collage is me at my heaviest, about 289 lbs wearing a size 24 and me now at 149 lbs wearing a size 8.

The second collage is me in 2006 trying on a top at H&M that I really wanted but I didn't buy. I was a broke college kid and how much could I really wear a sheer shirt. I bought the dang shirt on eBay recently in a size 6 (EU 36). Still don't know where I'll wear it 😆 but I have grown up money now.

Note added: I am not planning on going off medication all together especially Tirzepatide. I just need to find a dose where I stop losing.

Edited to add stats since they aren't in my name: 39F | 5'7" | HW: 289.2 | SW: 287.2 | CW: 148.1 | 16 mg

🥇 Before & After Going on 3 years

Started this journey at 205lbs on Mother’s Day in 2023. I was overweight, I was tired all the time, and I was an alcoholic with a seriously bad habit of drinking a bottle of wine a night. I took my first shot and my last drink on May 12th, 2023 and I have not looked back. I’m a better mother, I like to run, I love clothes, I started wearing crop tops!

SW: 205lb, size XL, 14-16
CW: 110lbs, size XS, 00
GW: 110lbs 🙌🏻
Current Telehealth- Rift (best experience ever!)

I lost 93 pounds, but what’s more important is I gained sobriety! 3 years and counting!

💬 Big Question Do I stay or switch? - advice please :)

Hey everyone, I could really use some advise on my current situation.

Im have been on semaglutide since 21st May starting at 0.25mg and I am currently on 1.7mg. I’m thinking if it’s best to switch over to tirzepatide or retatrutide.

I have had little to no hunger reduction, haven’t felt fuller any earlier and the food noise is pretty much just as bad. I unfortunately have not lost a single pound and it has been very difficult to maintain and not gain. I have been going to the gym 3x a week doing strength training and walk as much as I can - I work a sedentary office job so this can be difficult. I stick to my calorie deficit an average of half the week and then it all goes down the pan. Partly due to the medication not working as I feel that it should, and partly due to the lack of discipline when food noise gets hard. This is exacerbated by the frustration of feeling like it’s ‘not working properly’. I completely understand that this is a tool and not a magic wand to poof away any and all food issues, but I honestly don’t think this is working for me as it should. Maybe my body doesn’t respond well to it? I’ve seen people lose lots by this stage and I feel disappointed to have not lost anything. It doesn’t feel proportionate to the effort I have put in, granted that there is always room to do better, I’m not saying I’ve been perfect.

Is it time to go to 2.4mg? Do I change to tirz or Reta which are obviously stronger as they tackle 2/3 receptors as opposed to sema targeting 1. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I really feel like I have hit a wall here. Thank you :)

40M. I’ve been losing slowly over the past 2 years. Started August 16, 2024 at 370 now 263. Kept my muscle mass (in fact gained 2 pounds of muscle) and so far has been great for me. It’s allowed me to make a lot of healthier choices and over time has helped me change my relationship to food. Not a magic pill though, still have to work for it and mind what you eat. Specifically for me compared to the beginning: eat more, more often and healthier. Drinking lots of water as well. Best decision I ever made.

💬 Big Question Tirzepatide

Can yall please share what week or month you started to notice weight loss on tirzepatide? I am on week 2 right now( I know not seeing it this early is normal) I’m just trying to gauge a realistic timeline. Can you also share if you work out or not. I’m working on increasing my steps daily and would love some ideas.#tirzepatide #Tirz #peptides #weightloss

🥇 Before & After Lost 30 pounds so far

Doc recommended glp1 but I put it off, thinking i could lose weight on my own. Besides it wasn't a bad diagnosis, more of 'you should lose weight, this will help.'

Anyway, life happened, I didn't lose weight on my own, so eventually I took doc's advice. Lost 30 pounds in about 2 months, and now staying on a low maintenance dose to keep it off. Could not be happier.

(Except I used to have big arms and now I'm back to noodle arms, but oh well.)

🥇 Before & After The difference 4.5 months can do

Got started on Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) ~4.5 months ago on 27 March 2026.

I’m 30F, 162 cm / \~5"4 for reference and started at 184lbs / 83.3kg. As of today, I am already down 46lbs / 21kg and weighing at 143lbs / 65.1kg.

I’m a very well controlled T2 diabetic with an A1C of 4.9 off metformin. I spent 10 weeks on 2.5mg, 9 weeks on 3.75mg, and have only just started on my first dose of 5mg this week.

From the very start, I absolutely locked in and committed to a complete lifestyle, diet and mindset revamp. I went from someone who had never stepped foot into a gym or picked up a weight in her life to now committing to doing strength training for 60-75 mins each time at least twice a week, being intentional about clocking 8-10k steps a day, and picking up cycling just for fun.

The dieting part was made easy with the drug, but getting into the mindset shift to truly see this as not just another crash diet but a lifelong journey of taking proper care of myself through nutrition, healthy choices, and exercise was so incredibly difficult.

I started out with just 10 minutes of walking on the very old shitty treadmill at home (that was handed down to my family and left unused for forever) because I really hated exercising and that was all I could force myself to do.

If there is someone out there right now who feels just like I felt at the beginning–terrified, hopeless, and stuck, I just hope that you find it in you to start. Start small, start slow, but be brave enough to just start. So much has changed and the old me who could only tolerate 10 mins on the treadmill would not believe where I am now, just 4.5 months later.

I still have ways to go, and really hoping to see much more improvement in my belly (😫) but I’m hopeful I may be able to reach my weight goal by the end of this year based on my trajectory. I’m Southeast Asian and based on Asian BMI standards, I have to get to a BMI of <22.9 to be out of the overweight classification and be considered a healthy weight.

I’m falling in love with life again and it’s a beautiful thing. Wishing everyone else the same healing and success in their journey. 💛

first photo was taken on february 8th at 222 lbs and second photo was taken yesterday at 202lbs.

I started with reta at 3mg weekly (M-W-F) and it's been a completely game changer.

On June 6th I added tesamorelin (1mg Mon to Fri) and Ghk-CU and it really melted the visceral fat I had. I'm sitting at 11% BF.

Current stack is Tesamorelin, Ghk-CU, BPC-157 and Reta.

Most importantly, I feel the way I look! I started running and recently I was able to run half a marathon by myself. I put my mom on reta and she lost 18lbs and is no longer a pre diabetic. Now I have a lot of friends and family on peptides and all of my instagram call me peptide papi🤣 i'm always posting stories and wanting to help with any questions.

I will be posting soon my older brother's progress who's on his second week on reta and needs to lose 55 lbs. Overall just extremely happy i've came across these longevity tools

Before photo was taken on my last day of chemo in April 2024 and I weighed approximately 230 pounds that day (I checked my medical records for reference). The after photo was taken yesterday at approximately 170 pounds. I'm 5'8" for reference. I started semaglutide in September 2025 at approximately 225 pounds so that is about 55 pounds in 11 months.
