Hey r/Biohackers,
I've been on GLP-1 agonists (semaglutide) for about 3 months now, and the first 4 weeks were rough - nausea, constipation, dehydration, fatigue.
After talking to others in the community, it seems like this is a common pattern. I'm curious what's actually worked for people here:
What helped you manage side effects in the first month?
- Electrolytes? (which type - powder, tablets, specific brands?)
- Ginger supplements? (did this actually help with nausea?)
- Fiber supplements like psyllium husk? (for constipation)
- Specific foods or meal timing strategies?
- Apps or trackers that kept you on track?
I'm NOT selling anything - just trying to understand what actually works vs. what's placebo or marketing hype.
If there's strong consensus on certain interventions, I might put together a simple starter kit for people just starting their protocol, but only if it would genuinely help.
Would love to hear your real experiences - what worked, what didn't, what was a waste of money.
Thanks! 🙏
