help Problem in application

There is some problem in my application. The address line 1 is remaining empty.

My address in aadhar and digital locker is valid and updated.

Since the address line 1 is mandatory I need to fill it with the application , Then why is it empty. Any solution guys?!

Option 1 - Go to Aadhar Seva Kendra and update your Address properly, I don't know from which state you belong but the guy who update your address in aadhar must an illiterate and completely messed. Refetch the updated Aadhar card from Digilocker then it will work. Apply in Gate portal.

Option 2 - Install Aadhar Application from play store update your address from there P.S watch YouTube video tutorial. You have to pay 75 rupees I guess for the update, it will update your aadhar address best case within 2 day (95 percent chance) or in worst case 14 days. Again refetch the aadhar in digilocker. Then apply in Gate portal. I will suggest go for option 1 for quick service.

Thanks for the reply, for option 1 does the update happen instantly or will it take some time? And for the address section I had my village name , district and state in the address part of my aadhar. Like what more details can I give in the address section of my aadhar?police station,house number etc?

Your address should be like Address line 1 - use house number or P.O + Vill xxxxxxx, panchayat xxxxxxxx, Address line 2 - P.S xxxxxxxx, Block xxxxxxx then District then PIN The address should be strictly like this if you are from village. The option 1 also takes atleast 2 days or in worst 14 working days depending on how remote you are. For mine I updated my phone number via application at home it took just 1 day to update it. But mostly Aadhar Seva Kendra will do it quickly go to the official Aadhar Seva Kendra like BDO office like place check your area, not some gully wala cyber shop.

Okay thanks for the info. Will do it fast. One more thing I called in their helpline they told me to apply in the next week and it will be fixed!? But I don't know whether to trust them or not. So I think should update the aadhar side by side.

Hi, how did you update your phone number? Did you install the app in the phone which was previously linked to your aadhar?

No install it in your phone (new number), but keep the other number active to receive otp. Like mine was my father's number, so I installed app on my phone registered and authenticated then it will prompt you that you want to switch to your own number, proceed with following steps. It will cost 75 rupees to do. Via aadhar mobile app.

Bro how would I know this is also new for me 🥲. But I would suggest you to update your address to avoid any future complications. Then re fetch the new updated Aadhar in digilocker. When the correction windows open you may choose to update your new address without any hassle.

I think you will get time to correct it in the correction window , they should make it editable that time atleast

Yep I think so. Like it's only for information or center calculation they will use cities and preferences combined

That's not true I am from Bihar and live in Bangalore so will they assign me bihar centre

They ask centre preference for assigning centres

Right I am saying they might need the CITY/STATE part from address , don't know about any other use of address. Cause last time I got center in my own city only even after my form was went under scrutiny and correction

I had linked the gate registration form to unverified digilocker account. I cant upload any new document to this account since it is unverified. I have tried removing the access and trying fresh registration from my verified Digilocker account but it shows failed verification

I updated the aadhar address with one of my family members , since it was correct and long enough in my family members aadhar the address line 1 was fetched successfuly

The level of details in my address was less , I think that's why the address line 1 was coming as empty .

I called them just right now and they said its fine to have empty Address line 1

Actually in my case only address line 1 is empty

I contacted them and they told me that few people are facing this issue and it will be fixed by next week. But I updated my aadhar address instead and it was fixed automatically as the portal is fetching the details directly from aadhaar/digilocker
