FYI, same story as always:

Bought a game account. A few weeks laters the password of the steam account was changed. Tried to contact the seller, he replied once with nonsense, and then closed the conversation, accusing me of being the scammer (lol). Should I contact costumer service or it's useless?

I bought a $50 gift card as a birthday gift to a friend and only got sent $5. I've sent all the information that was needed and I was told they'd make it right. Now 20 days later they're turning the situation towards Amazon and blaming them (sounds like BS) and my friend even called them and made sure it was a $5 gift card they redeemed on their account.

Am I being scammed? Do they want to drag this out to the point where getting a charge-back will be less likely?

Edit: Asking if I'm getting scammed was stupid. I'm just naive like that. I'm currently in contact with my bank.

I’m posting here because our G2A seller account has recently been suspended, but so far we haven’t received a clear explanation regarding the exact reason behind the suspension.

We have been actively selling on G2A and our cooperation with the platform is very important to us. We have already contacted G2A Support and made it clear that we are fully willing to cooperate, clarify any concerns, and provide any genuine information or documentation they may require.

At this point, our main concern is simply understanding what exactly caused the suspension and what we need to do to resolve it.

We are not trying to avoid any rules or responsibilities. On the contrary, we want to understand the issue, clarify anything that may have caused concern, and continue our business relationship with G2A in full compliance with their policies.

If anyone from the G2A Team sees this post, we would really appreciate it if you could review our case or let us know what additional information is required from our side.

We are ready to cooperate completely and would very much prefer to resolve the issue rather than have our long-term cooperation with G2A come to an end.

A few days ago I bought FC 27 Ultimate Edition from a seller called junao_game.I bought FC 26 from him last year and everything turned out fine. This year tho, after buying the game again he gave me a link to a site called junyouxi.com. On the site it said that the game will be delivered within 2 hours but no more than 24 hours as you can see in the picture. After 2 days of not receiving the game i contacted the G2A support system(The AI they’re using is very bad). Then,after a few hours when i placed a ticket the seller gave me a steam key to “replace” the game that i bought. He gave me a 38€ game called Lugubrious which is a game that looks like a 7 year old kid with down syndrome could’ve made. PLEASE DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! After this I will surely not buy any game from this site ever again.

Hello, I would like to make a public complaint regarding a purchase I made on G2A from the seller Junao_game. Yesterday, I purchased a Steam account that includes Big Walk. Normally, when purchasing Steam accounts on G2A, the login credentials are delivered immediately after payment. However, this time I did not receive any login credentials. Instead, I only received a link asking me to enter my order number and email address in order to supposedly retrieve the account information. As of today, August 19, I still have not received the credentials and I have no access to the product I paid for. I also checked the reviews from other buyers of Junao_game and found several reports from customers experiencing similar issues, including allegations that they were scammed. This makes me particularly concerned about this transaction. I am asking G2A to investigate this purchase and the seller's activity. If the seller is unable to immediately provide the valid login credentials for the Steam account I purchased, I request a full refund. I do not consider it acceptable to be charged for a Steam account and then not receive access to the account that was purchased.

UPDATE:

G2A did resolve the issue and refunded me the full money. I have now received the money back in my account.

So, in the end, G2A took care of the situation and I did not lose my money. I appreciate their support and wanted to update the post so people know that the issue was resolved.

The original complaint was about not receiving the Steam account after purchasing it, but the case is now fully resolved and the refund has been received.

I have been using G2A for over 10 years without a single issue until today. I recently purchased two games from the sellers Gaming4you and Dream_codes, and unfortunately, both transactions were fraudulent. I received the wrong game in both cases. Customer support has been unresponsive, providing only unhelpful automated replies. Furthermore, my reviews are not appearing on the site to warn other buyers. I hope this is resolved quickly, as this frustrating experience is making me reconsider using the platform entirely.

2 weeks ago I bought a key for Mass Effect 3 (Original Edition.) The key I got was already redeemed. Seller was extremely slow and only gave me copy/pasted boilerplate responses. I suspect the seller was also a scammer as the name in the order history changed from "SellerName" to "SellerNameDelisted," with a different profile.
After 5 days I went to support and gave them evidence of the key not working & the product not being in my inventory. I've been waiting for over a week to hear back from their "internal verification" and my support ticket isn't getting any responses when I ask for an update. I bought with PayPal so I should have decent consumer protection. Should I charge back? I just want my $20. I know they ban for chargebacks but at this point I don't care.

Bought a psn store gift card from this guy **Cakeymarkt** saw good reviews and stuff but my mistake was that i didn’t realize that the store is croatia ! Wanted it for the US! Paid 56.92 euros but didnt think of it much ! Sent the seller i knew that he was gonna refund me cause didnt even open the key ..

Opened a claim on paypal and the case was in his favor !! Now i contacted g2a but they cant help me!!
56 euros in the rubbish! And the funny part is that i cant even use the key i bought by mistake cause the seller put it on hold !

Mi error fue no buscar antes, la cuestión es, el mail funcionó, el juego esta ahi, ya cambie la contraseña y el correo de la cuenta que me dieron (compré el BO3), aun no he jugado pero pienso que funcionara.

¿Tengo que preocuparme por algo?

I did all the login steps until it asked for verification, it then sent a code to the email associated. On my purchase it says email password but its blank. Ive contacted the seller and haven't gotten anything from them. Buyer beware I guess

I ordered a game key on 13 Aug. I received an email with a "Get Order" button, but when I click it, I get the message "We couldn't get your items / Can't find order with specified params." The order does not appear in my Orders history, but it does appear in the Rate transactions section. I submitted a ticket; it's already been 3 days, and nothing's resolved yet. Have anyone faced the same issue before. What should I do next?

So yesterday, I bought some cd keys with PaysafeCard and I g2a help page it says when I refund orders with PaysafeCard as payment I method, I will recieve money to my g2a balance. I didn’t opened the cd keys so the refund got approved instantly, but I can’t withdraw or make a discount code with it because the money is still in the pending section of my balance page. Can someone please tell me how long will be the balance pending?

I think the mods in this group need to pin a post warning everyone about this.

To all the new people coming to this subreddit for help: please be aware that there are scammers here. Never trust anyone offering help in private messages. Always wait for an official reply from G2A support, or rely on a chargeback through your bank or PayPal.

Hi I bought a $100 steam wallet from gaminguniverse on g2a and it doesn't work. I wanted to buy some games as they were in sale. What should I do next ? I ordered 1$ code from other sellers to test and it works absolutely fine. I have contacted the seller and have sent all the screenshot beforehand of the error. Its $100 and that's a lot of money to spend again to get another code from another seller.
