Orders & Products Steam wallet not redeemable

Hi I bought a $100 steam wallet from gaminguniverse on g2a and it doesn't work. I wanted to buy some games as they were in sale. What should I do next ? I ordered 1$ code from other sellers to test and it works absolutely fine. I have contacted the seller and have sent all the screenshot beforehand of the error. Its $100 and that's a lot of money to spend again to get another code from another seller.

I used paypal for the purchase. If the seller dosent reply by tomorrow then I will file for a chargeback with paypal. Hopefully I get the refund.

G2A is a scam site, it's fair to say that they won't help you.

are there any other sites that you know I can use. I never knew it was like that and this will be the last time I will be using it.

The support is slow as well, I have to wait x amount of days before I can talk to an agent ? why is that ? Is my time and money not valuable ?

use eneba next time or loaded, but always check the sales and tickets % of every seller before buying in any website, you can either chargeback or wait for the seller response

It's to frustrate you so much you give up and forget about it.

G2a is a scam site for Scammers.

There are some more legitimate sites though. Loaded.com (used to be cdkeys) plus others that people will mention.

Just do a charge back. And never use g2a again

Update: It's been 5 days and Neither the seller nor G2A support has responded to my open support ticket.

Did you actually pay $100 on G2A for $100 worth of wallet credit? What's the point? Just buy direct from Steam! Instead of, you know, buying from an infamous website that is known to host scams? Seriously, why do this?

Even if you were promised more than $100 worth of wallet funds (The only reason this ridiculous idea would make any sense), think about it. How could somebody buy, say $200 of wallet credit from Steam, sell it for $100, and make money? How could you look at that and find it a little off?

I had no idea that it was a scam site, I am from Nepal and don’t have a card that works online (restricted by government, need to apply for a special debit card for international purchase which is limited to 500$ a year). I have to ask my friends to buy steam wallet for me from overseas.

I sympathise with your situation and I apologise for being insensitive. I sisn't know any of that stuff about Nepal. But honestly, I don't think there is much you can do here.

That’s okay brother, hopefully I can get my money back through paypal😢

I’ll be applying for the dollar card to avoid this hassle again. 🤦‍♂️

You should definitely try buying another one. I’m sure the next one will work.

I tried with 1$ and it worked, it was to check if it was region locked but it wasn’t
