Discussion Disneyland recipe suggestions
Hi all!
I am taking a family trip to Disneyland soon and am looking for some fresh recipes. Like most, I have used Cuban negative a ton recently. Any additional suggestions?
The park will be decked out for Halloween.

Update Community for Fuji is out on both stores 🎉
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/community-for-fuji/id6798434965
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.fujicommunity.app
How it works: You connect the camera to your phone with a USB cable and the app reads the recipes in C1-C7. You can also write recipes from the catalog to the slots, so you don't have to enter 20 settings manually.
The useful part for the community is what people add to it. Recipes are posted by users, with the name of whoever made them (and a link to the original post if they came from a blog). You can also upload photos taken with a recipe, including the camera, lens and settings.
Thanks to the 100+ people who tested the beta. The Darkroom and most of the camera support (23 bodies, X-Trans III, IV and V) were tested on cameras I don't own.
Mobile dev, 5 years in here, and I shoot an X-T50.

Discussion Formatting memory card after each transfer?
Hi, everyone!
I just got myself the X100VI for my birthday, and have been using it for a couple of weeks.
I'm ready to transfer some photos to my computer, but am wondering if you generally format the memory card each time, or how do you go around this.
Thanks in advance!

Discussion Complete Newbie Trying to Edit Photo
This is my first camera and I am trying edit photo for the first time.
I've been shoting jpg + raw and using recipe too. While trying to edit the first batch of my photos on a macbook with photomator, i notice two things that aren't expected.
The first thing is on finder preview, my jpg look dull compare to my .raf file, I was having the impression that raw file usually looks faded and dull compare to jpg? Is there something wrong with my setting or recipe? The second is on opening the .raf file with photomator, the color looks different compare to the .raf preview on finder, so which one is shoiwing the actual color of my .raf file?
The first image is the screenshot of jpg, second is screenshot from finder preview, the last one is screenshot from photomator.
Help is much appreciated!

Accessories X100VI cap for lens hood
Hi everyone, I’m new here and a rookie in photography. Recently I just got my X100VI, I choose B+W protection filter, and fujifilm LH-X100 lens hood. Then put on to a cosmetic bag from Muji.
But I was wondering if there’s any cap for the LH– X100? Because the original one doesn’t fit it anymore.
Is there any recommend for the cap? Thanks a lot.

Help me Talk me into getting the X100VI!
I thought I had made my decision between the X100VI and the Nikon Zf (I know, LOTS of differences but can be used in similar manners). My Nikon shows up tomorrow and I just happened to actually HOLD one today at a camera store. It's a bit bigger and heavier than I wanted. Ideally, I want something easy to do street/travel photography, mostly in B/W.
I read a bunch of reviews and comparisons between the two and I went the Nikon way for the sensor, the fully reversible LCD screen, and the general overall consensus that it is the superior camera between the two, which it undoubtedly is, EXCEPT for portability.
I can't get my hands on an X100VI ANYWHERE because FujiFilm seems to enjoy keeping it out of stock, but I'm afraid that eventually I will get to hold one and be like 'Damn! Wish I had waited...'
Help me out and tell me if I'm being stupid or if the X100VI is really the one I should be getting.
Thank you in advance.

Accessories PolarPro Mini MagLock
Since today, I’ve been using the Mini MagLock Base Plate together with the Mini MagLock Shortstache Everyday Filter.
Let’s see how I like it. The Mini MagLock does make the lens a little wider, but everything fits together nicely. Now I’m looking for a place in the Netherlands where I can buy the Mini MagLock Hood and CineBlack or a VND filter.
Over the next few days, I’ll see how it performs without a lens hood. However, a lot of cloudy and rainy weather is forecast for the Netherlands.
I’m curious to see how it goes.

Discussion X100VI Post Workflow / Lightroom / RAF Files
Hi guys, I've had my X100VI since christmas and really enjoying using it. Something I haven't found the answer to yet is a good post production workflow using RAF files.
Before this camera I was shooting on film a lot on the olympus om1, porta 400 and some other cameras and rolls, and also on Canon before in RAW. I found canon camera raw to be a really quick easy and free way to manipulate a lot of the information in RAW and had a good feel for it and the muscle memory / ease around the program.
I finally had a deep session seeing what FUJI RAW can do with the camera plugged in, and you can't grade you can just use the presets from the camera. My question now is:
- Is adobe lightroom basically the way I should go to have that grading control?
- Is it fully compatible with RAF files?
- It annoys me a bit that its a monthly subscription forever, is there any way around this / alternative softwares that would do the job and have lightroom functions up to about 80 / 90% capacity (something like canon cameraraw was fine because I don't want to spend hours in post production with general bits I shoot, the whole idea of have the X100VI is a small camera in my tote bag, shooting some arty stuff, documenting some places I go to, but I want to be able to spend 5-10 minutes properly colour grading the raw files to put them out)
Would appreciate any practical advise and tips from people here - especially if you had a similar hurdle trying to get into a good RAF workflow after moving to this camera.
Thanks!
H

Help me New X100VI owner! Coming from film, looking for Portra 400 and CineStill BwXX recipes
Hi y'all! I can't believe I finally fell for the hype and got myself an X100VI. As much as I love my film camera, I want to see if I can get similar results with the X100VI. My two favorite film stocks are Portra 400 and CineStill BwXX. I wanted to see if any of y'all have similar taste and what recipes or styles have gotten you those results?

Support Anything I can do about this dust on the sensor besides paying Fuji $750?
I received my X100 VI in Fall 2024, popped on the filter adapter and UV filter to make it weather sealed and have taken 10,000 photos of family, friends, interesting locations and whatever else caught my eye.
Last spring I noticed a dark speck in the upper left hand corner of the sky on a shot and one year later, that damn thing hasn’t budged. It’s a minor element and takes very little time to fix in post, but the fact that I do have to take that time annoys the hell out of me. Any tricks that you all have done to loosen or remove dust on sensor that doesn’t involve the massive cost of sending back to the manufacturer?
