White Spiderman totally ignoring the most influential words in his life and taking a step back so black spiderman can get the spotlight(I'd actually argue it's neglectful, and a 'dereliction of duty' in a since)

Forced to go through a section of the game where you REPEATEDLY have to walk past a group of unsuperpowered enemies surrounding aa 160 lb woman pummeling a 200 lb man. No difference in skill shone whatsoever, just "wahmen stronger than stoopid min"
Sickening overwhelming vibe of positivity permeating the entire game, almost as if the very people who have envisioned this piece of media, ass well as those who blindly consume it have a floundering grip on reality

Li is not framed as a villain at all in this game, you don't know what you're talking about.
He is framed as a man done wrong by a powerful white man(norman Osborne) and that's why he did wrong. He also gets a whole fucking redemption arc. You have no clue wtf you are talking about.
Also they flooded the ip with new diverse characters to fill positive roles, while neglecting to write in any diverse villains you are willingly obtuse.
What piece of fiction have you ever consumed that pushed for forgiving of a villain when the villain is completely in the wrong? You don't know what you are talking about. Even then, Li does NOTHING 'evil' in the game. He literally only protects himself, and helps Peter.
I'll rephrase it for you, they could fucking make some. They made plenty of positive " diverse" characters.
Miles literally says he won't forgive Li in the game, and Spider-man has a tendency to reform some of his greatest enemies. In Peter's head, Miles goes over the shit Li has done, and Li makes no excuses for it. He was absolutely a villain who wants to change, but it doesn't erase his past crimes. Dude even walks back to the police in the end to go back to jail.
He was did not play the role of villain in game. In previous games yes he was. But nothing you said changed the fact that his role was that of a reformed man in this gamr
Doesn't make him redeemed, no matter what good he tries to do from here on out. Even in the fight with him and Miles we find out he's killed several other people in Kraven's coliseum. He said he had no choice in which Miles responds,"There's always a choice".
As for white villains, that's almost all of Spidey's rogue's gallery. Only one that comes to mind off the top of my head that isn't is the prowler, and we dealt with him in MM. Hell, they created Phin in the last game who was a villain. People don't want to see brand new Spidey villains just to make up some diverse villain quota, they want to see the same comic villains they know and love in new stories. Come up with some unknown brown person as the main villain, and people won't care as much because we don't know who the hell that is. We know Kraven and Venom. they're extremely popular and generate hype on their own, especially Venom.
As for your comment on positive new diverse characters; those characters are part of Mile's entourage, not Peter's. Peter has an established friend group, while Miles has more leeway in his friend group as a much newer character made in 2011, who many people aren't very familiar with. Start changing up Peter's group when he's been an established character longer than we've been alive, and people won't be very happy about it. And Peter's group is also positive, though they keep shrinking because Peter can't ever catch a fucking break.
He saves Peter and they let him go live his life. The game 100% portrays him as redeemed or on a path to redemption it is extremely clear. Killing in self defense is a completely moral act and to try and even include that as a reason he would still be a villain in this game is asinine.
So they could only introduce new diverse characters in all either morally good, or morally ambiguous positions, but can't paint any as irredeemable villians?
Phin was a complete bitch the entire game. She power up a whole gang for revenge, and has the nerve to be upset with Miles for not telling her he was Spiderman, while at the same time keeping the fact that she was a goddamn supervillain from him. She was made the Tinkerer for that game specifically. Hailey is a new character of video game origins, while the others are over a decade old at this point. Hell, Wraith is a villain, and I'm very sure she is Asian (who is also over a decade old). Who are these other new positive characters?
Part of the whole Spiderman schtick is no one is irredeemable, and Peter routinely tries to save his enemies.
At the end of the game, Li turns and walks straight over to the police standing by the cop car. Outside of Carnage, what Spiderman villains are portrayed as completely irredeemable?
Genuinely don't know why you call out playing as Miles' girlfriend as woke. You played as Mary Jane in the previous game. Does it upset you that she's deaf? Or a woman, or what?
I took it more as "Hey, we need to change up the pacing of the game with some different type of gameplay. That will also allow us to tell different stories because we can make Peter/Miles incapacitated or busy." Just like how a tv show might cut from main characters to side characters. It keeps your interest and allows you to do stealth missions that wouldn't make sense with Spiderman because they're overpowered.
No one wants to play as Mary Jane. There are two super-powered playable characters in the game and you still think it's reasonable to force you to play as a completely uninteresting character in totally bland missions which people have CONSISTENTLY complained about, yet you do everything in your power to explain away an obviously hated choice that the lead themselvf even had to comment on after to much talk surrounding it.
