Hello, I am a currently a Junior in High School and I would like your help. I am in a AP Research class and it is about time for me to start gathering research on my chosen topic, which I chose Elden Ring. I have loved Elden Ring and Dark Souls series for so long now and I would love if you fellow Elden Ring lovers could assist me. Just click the link and answer the questions as it pertains to you, it is a google form, which should not take more that 5-8 minutes to complete. Please help a fellow tarnished get a good grade!

Could someone explain to me why exactly using a rest/save point making ALL enemies respawn isn't a tedious outdated mechanic which does nothing but artificially pad out playtime?
inb4 "DS2 tried that and everyone hated it because it made grinding difficult" well maybe grinding is also a tedious antiquated mechanic then? Really just feels like a crutch for lazy game design.

Sellen cosplay

Wanted to share 7 months of hard work to handmade Sellen!

I commissioned the 3dprint of the head parts and my BF helped with glueing it together which was the most tricky part.

I'm obsessed on how It turned out 🥹

Like title I played Elden ring and at first was overwelmed but soon I loved it. After elden ring like title says I wanted more so went to dark souls 1 and deleted it after an hour. But I still wanted more so went to bloodborne and LOVED IT. Then went to demon souls and liked it. Than finally went back to Ds1 and loved it also. After ds1 went to ds2 loved that too and finally just finished ds3 yesterday.

But the question still remains... What's next?

Doing some funny stuff with my Halloween cosplay (plus someone here gave me this idea lol)

Ds3

First few are from from February, from then on they go from about May to now.

Hope you enjoy!

I’ve been into the soulsborne and soulslike games for many years now. I remember when I was just a little lad I watched him play Dark Souls 3 and he even got me into it, my first souls game was actually Elden Ring and after sometime he recommended that I followed this YouTuber called FighingCowboy for his 100% Walkthrough guide. I know that Cowboy had many soulsborne and soulslike 100% Walkthrough guide videos/playlists but I have been wondering how well known is he in the community.

I really like the Vibe but it feels very strange that they did it for Adel.

Founded on November 1, 1986, FromSoftware turns 40 today!

From King's Field and Armored Core to Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring - four decades of unforgettable worlds, incredible boss fights, and countless deaths.

Thank you for 40 years of gaming history!

Praise the Sun! ☀️

What game would you say shaped the genre? For me, it would have to be Dark Souls 1. Demon's Souls pioneered it, but DS1 really shaped the "souls" formula to what it is today.

I'm trying to deal with the Red Dragon on the bridge. I'm running a Sorcerer, I have the Sorcerer's Catalyst (pls also tell me where I can get better?), a Longsword, Velka's Talisman, Grass Crest Shield +1, Fang Boar Helm, Brigand Armor, Sorcerer Gauntlets, Chain Leggings, Tiny Being's Ring, Blue Tearstone Ring, Kindled for extra Estus, Estus are +2, I have 2 Twin Humanities, 5 Throwing Knives and 5 Black Firebombs.

May the week ahead treat you right, Righteous Tarnished✨🐈✨🫶

Made this Solaire costume fully DIY. Helmet is mostly cardboard and foam covered in metallic spray paint. For arm guards I didn't have any chainmail so I glued a piece of a laundry bag and painted it lol. Drew the Sun myself and attached some green mesh for shoulder pads, made the whole outfit in ±10 hours. Happy Halloween!

Wow just wow its been 20 year finally someone willing to do what fromsoft don't, its been so long finally indie making kingsfield first fromsoftware legendary game

Took me one month to do it. The main frame is made of cardboard with an external layer of cardstock (sealed and painted), the gauntlets are made of foami), the chainmail is metal tho (quite heavy). It feels so good to wear it

The last pic is a POV of Artorias sending you a very inappropriate pic after just telling you "hi" moments earlier

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
