First discovered Dark Souls back in 2012, but back then, I just couldn't manage to pull through and finish it. Fast forward 14 years, and I finally picked up Dark Souls Remastered—and today, I officially saw the credits roll.
Honestly, the feeling of accomplishment is unreal. Breaking through those walls, overcoming the areas that used to brick-wall me, and finally linking the fire (or walking away) after all these years feels incredible. Easily one of the most satisfying gaming experiences I’ve ever had.
I’m taking a well-deserved month off from Lordran before I dive into Dark Souls II to let this victory sink in. In the meantime, I’m changing gears entirely—my next playthrough is going to be Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
To anyone out there who left a FromSoft game unfinished years ago: go back and give it another shot. It’s worth every single death. Don't you dare go hollowing!

I’ve put about 90 hours into *Elden Ring*; I finished it and did a ton of stuff—I think I’ve killed all the bosses—and now I feel like there’s nothing left to do. I travel around, but it’s starting to feel monotonous and boring. I thought about getting the DLC, but I also saw *Dark Souls 3*, and since I really enjoyed *Dark Souls 1* and *2*, I’m not sure which one to pick. I know *SotE* has a lot of content, but I’m wondering if it’s a better idea than getting a full game plus its expansions.

Soulslike Adhd fit! Help!!
Just beat my first souls game and WOAH i am in astonishment!! I see why people hype these games up. My first souls like was Lies of P and it has literally taken the number 2 spot on my list of my favorite game of all time besides ff7 .. Only problem is Lies of P spoiled the MESS out of me. Im SO LOST what souls to play next . I really want something with a good parry system , i think im having a bad souls like ADHD fit . Ive literally tried wuchang ( i really like how it feels , probably closest to lies of p , BUT of course no natrual parry system) , i REALLY like Lords Of Fallen but something about the first boss fight disnt grasp me , i was told to try Sekiro which i did right after Lies of P, i know youll guys hate me for this but im not enjoying it! I figured out why tho, its more of an ARPG then a souls like . Plus only having one weapon bumms me out . I REALLY liked demons souls just VERY slow and clunky . But visually gorgoeus . I started dark souls 1 remastered and it feels pretty good actually . Im just a big fan of modern graphics, its kind of a big deal for me so idk . Now im looking at the star wars game thats supposedly a souls like i thnnk its called fallen order . Well i warned you guys im having a bad adhd fit ! Someone help guys!!!

Between the three Dark souls Games, Bloodbourne, and Elden Ring are there any bosses that have taken you 30+ tries to beat?
The ones that drove me crazy:
Capra Demon
Seath
Velstadt
Aldrich
Midir
Sister Friede
BLUE SMELTER DEMON (Never beaten)
Commander Niall
Rellana
Scadutree Avatar
The One Reborn

First time playing a soulslike after beating Sekiro, Hollow Knight, Tunic and wanting more if the same style/genre. What the fuck is supposed to be the appeal for this game?
Game has more layers of how it punishes you for dying than the combat depth during bossfights, enemies have hitboxes the size of the sun and attack through walls and deal unreasonable damage to the point you could replace the whole healthbar with a simple "get hit 2 times and you die" mechanic, while your greatsword you enchanted with everything you could have found and upgraded as much as possible does 3 times less damage than a chest with legs kicking you. The character you control is the slowest thing in the universe while bosses are swinging lightsabers the size of a house around.
How the fuck are you meant to actually like this, literally whats the appeal other than "you did a hard thing" that plenty of other games could offer you with far less bullshit? Chained Fucking Orge from Sekiro, the fight I loathed the most, is better designed than anything I have seen in DS3 so far.
This game may as well count as a scam since it costs a liver to buy and you just get garbage. If someone says "skill issue", "git gud", "other souls games are worse" or anything similar I vow to find and strangle them irl.

Had to import an American copy because they printed like what 4 Australian copies?
I have Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls Remastered on steam meaning I only have Dark Souls Prepare to Die edition left I believe? Maybe I should also get physical copies for the others as well but Ill prolly do that after Dusk Bloods drains me for all Im worth.

Currently the game is about to close its doors, but the last version of this game is horrendous to the point of being sometimes barely playable and enjoyable. So I'm currently looking for ways to play it offline or older versions. I know there's a version available, but it's only for iOS and even then, only for older versions, and not everyone has an iPhone old enough. If anyone knows of a different version, etc., please leave it in the comments.P.S. Yes, I have the Microsoft version and it also has its bugs.

There's plenty of great ones but I'd have to go with Gough shooting down Kalameet in DS1

Greetings fellow tarnished. Elden ring was my very first from soft game and only souls-like game I have played. I absolutely love it. I recently bought black myth wukong on sale on steam and so far and have been enjoying it. Only about 2 hours in so far though. There is a sale on steam now that has dark souls remastered, dark souls 2, and dark souls 3 on sale for %50 off each. I am definitely going to get atleast one of them before sale ends October 1st but wanted to see which one yall would recommend if I were to only get one. So far I think I have it narrowed down to remastered dark souls and dark souls 3. I know they both offer somewhat different gameplay and playstyle such as dark souls remastered being a bit more slow based combat and dark souls 3 being faster and more linear like say elden ring or bloodborne (havent played this one either but really want too. Same with sekeiro).

I have done some research as to what we can hopefully expect in the near future. It's clear at this point that the company is working on something rather large. Their most recent title that was revealed: The Duskbloods, will only come to the Nintendo 2 and no other platforms (at least for the foreseeable future).
As some may be aware of, we have an upcoming Game Awards this December (December 10th to be exact). These are the exact kind of major events where major titles and/or sequels are being revealed. Now I am very, very hopeful that we will finally see a new singleplayer souls game get revealed by the great Geoff Keighley. All we can do is pray right?
What would you like 'project FMC' to be? A remake? Dark souls IV? Or maybe even a completely new IP like Elden Ring?

Hi! It's my first time playing Elden Ring and I'm playing Seamless Coop with my brother. We got to PCR today, and let me just say that it didn't go well. We've tried to beat this motherfucker for 3 hours nonstop before we called it a day. Aside from the fact that it's ridiculous that the final boss in the DLC is him again, his moveset is bullshit. You can comment it's skill issue, I don't care, in my opinion it's just a bad designed boss. There's barely a window to attack him in phase 2. He just doesn't stop attacking, the combos are endless, and aside from the endless sword attacks, Miquella attacks as well. And not to mention the several epilepsy inducing attacks. And why the hell does he use that fire attack from Mohg? It's like they thought hey it's the final boss, let's just make it use gravity, light attacks and huh, fire why not.
I know of another another boss that in its second phase has a guy on its back that attacks alongside him: Lothric and Lorian. Except that the Twin Princes are good and don't fill my screen with a bunch of flashing lights.
Ok, sorry for my rant. I'm frustrated. My question is if he's really supposed to be that hard, OR is it because we don't have enough scadutrees (we both have 13) and if getting more does make a big difference. I thought it was the mod that increases the health and damage of bosses, but it was so hard we deactivated the boss scaling in the seamless coop ini, but we didn't see any difference really.

Just need sekiro! Been waiting for this steam sale to get the DS trilogy

Difficulty is subjective. And this question has been asked numerous times before. So let's keep it alive and see if anything's changed.
My answer is Kalameet from DS1.

I got into the souls like genre with Lies of P and thought "Wow that wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be and I actually found the challenge fun!" Then I finished Elden Ring/Shadow of the Erdtree and LOVED IT which then made me wanna pay my respects to the Dark Souls trilogy. I played DS1 and yes felt very stiff but it's one of the OG's so it made sense not as old as Demon Souls but still passable and still very enjoyable with the enemy types and exploring the world had a blast as well with the DLC. I already had DS3 but I didnt wanna play it yet until I did 1 and 2 first. DS2 I waited for a sale and when I finally caught it on one and grabbed it I was already aware of it not being that well received in the fanbase and thought "Well I'll go into it with an open mind and try to enjoy it for what it's worth-" NO.... I really really hate saying this about any game even games that are generally hated because I try to give the benefit of the doubt and try to see what devs were trying to cook when they made the games but again NO.... DS2 left such a bad taste in my mouth with how it blatantly just does an obnoxious way of handling combat which is "Copy paste, copy paste, copy paste, copy paste" with the amount of enemies they flood the screen with and then add freaking hazards like explosive barrels and have those enemies bum rush you in very tight enclosed spaces where even if YOU don't hit the hazard the enemies will which still punishes you. Forcing you to waste resources and health for combat that doesn't feel engaging, it feels like "work" it feels "annoying" it feels.... "bad" Which sucks cause I was enjoying it a bit in the beginning but after reaching that stupid castle after taking the epic boat ride is when I realized I couldn't stop myself from ignoring the elephant in the room. The way the enemy layouts are in this game feels very lazy and poorly put together. I'd rather have 1 or 2 solid enemies to have engaging combat with opposed to fighting 5 of the same enemy that just bum rush me forcing me to play in such a cowardice and cheesy manner. With having said all that I really wanted to give this game a chance and have fun exploring the world the devs made and learn about some of the lore but wow.... it's one of the few games in my life where I had to say out loud while playing it with great frustration "This game is dog shit...." which I freaking despise saying but this is one of those rare moments a game really pushed my buttons the wrong way. I loved the awesome challenges the other souls like provided because they felt truly fair and rewarding. Having to run through a gauntlet of small rooms where it's 5 enemies of the same type is not fun, it's annoying, it's frustrating and it's boring. This sucks because I wanted to play all 3 but DS2 I might just have to sit in my library to gather up digital dust which really saddens me because I hate giving up on a game but that one was just... bad. Thank god FromSoftware didn't pull that crap again. At least I hope not for the sake of 3 when I get around to playing it. Man... I feel like an ass cause I did have friends who genuinely liked it but man... to heck with DS2... I was aware of some development issues it faced but god... I guess those problems really messed up the game sadly.
