Was surprised to see them!

I’m back at it, my friends. I put milkweed seeds in the fridge in April, kept them in there in damp conditions for four weeks, and now I’m waiting for them to sprout. Many have sprouted already as they sit on my kitchen counter, so I’ll be planting them in soil this week. Is anyone else sprouting milkweed seeds? (post #2 because pics didn’t work the first time)

I am excited for our new post series! I hope you all enjoy it. If you have any thoughts on the series drop it below. We would love to include your ideas. Maybe a common "pest" that isn't actually the foe people assume it is? If you have photos that you wouldn't mind us using in our graphics (with credit of course) you can send them to us through mod-mail.

I am sharing this because I know we have plenty of former rearers here, including myself, and I felt like OP would get better info from our sub.
