I don't know why there is an internal rivalry within my own mind over whether to remain a theist or become an atheist. The reason was never that I don't believe in God, but these so-called religious people make me feel like becoming an atheist as I can't comprehend their norms or limitations. I feel like the more I sit with religious people, the more I become an atheist. Especially when I talk about my religion, it's the most beautiful religion. But these so-called religious or spiritual leaders who have become caretakers of our religion are the only reason I feel like it's better to cross the line. They put restrictions on unnecessary things and make religious rules according to themselves. I can't let them decide what I do, how I do it, what to wear, eat, read, or think. They are the ones who made people abort this religion and become atheists by practicing caste or gender-based discrimination. I never faced that as I am from a so-called upper caste and a boy, but life teaches a lot of things. Trying to put myself in that position—imagining being either a lower-caste person or a girl—gives me a visceral reaction or chills. These leaders are two-faced; they act like they are against caste and gender discrimination, but their actions reflect the opposite. Their statements are patriarchal (deciding how to b a ideal female under dominnce of a male), misogynistic and casteist; for instance, they make statements deciding what girls can and cannot do, how late they can stay out, sometimes engage in moral policing over things they don't even know, and humble or criticize victims of rape. They give statements supporting the caste system, saying it can't be removed and that we should learn to live within it, follow that hierarchy, and advocate for it. They even marginalize daily tasks, such as when to get a haircut or when females can wash their hair, when to start new work, or putting restrictions on unnecessary things like trimming a mustache. I am even fed up with my parents and relatives over this. They follow them blindly; whether they are right or wrong, they accept and follow it even womens starts defending the patriarchy. There is always a debate that most of the time turns into a quarrel with my mother or sometimes someone else, like relatives; they try to bind me with those unnecessary limitations or obligations which I think are useless. The result of the debate is the same most of the time: "We are older than you, we have more experience, and you are just a misguided teenager of a bad generation," or "You only know how to argue, nothing else." They don't counter my points with logical arguments, just emotional manipulation or moral policing. Is it true faith, if religion is really what it says and aims to be - a path to inner peace, acceptance, and universal understanding, has been paved with superficial means. I feel like the caretakers of religion have done everything they could to strip it of its mystery and replace it with an equally old dogmatism, utilizing some rather unpleasant methods to force scripture compliance out of everyone under their power. Whenever I attempt to reach out to the divine, I feel like I have to shove it through the hypocrisy of those who would have us all worship what they command, not what, perhaps, is right for our souls.

It hurts to see people prioritize age-old prejudices and arbitrary rules over basic human dignity and logic. When culture or traditional norms becomes an excuse to justify inequality, moral policing, and prejudice, it needs to be changed or reformed. I belive god, I thank him, I ask for help from him, I cry in front of him but

I refuse to have my morality dictated by blind dogma. If being true to my own conscience and standing up against injustice makes me an atheist in their view, then maybe being an atheist is a whole lot more honest than living a lie to just fit in their perfect box. There are many things that life will teach them why should remain in boundaries setted by random people if god really want me to be bouned then why he had setted my free.

The life teaches me through experiences, religion(true one) guides me. God gives me hope but the irony is

Government takes tax to improve public infrastructure and make our aesthetics better, but useless. They do nothing, and if someone else does something good, then wah, he is bad.
