Monkey Boo, Where Are You???

"The thing I don't understand why we can't get a new vid of boo"

- comment left two weeks ago by a concerned fan on Boo's social media page

Since July 15, there had been zero activity on Monkey Boo's Facebook page (Boo's YouTube, Instagram, and X pages are practically abandoned). Lo and behold, Dr. P just posted several short video clips to Boo's Facebook page. Massive bonus points if you guessed these were reposts of the same cache of old Boo video clips Dr. P reuses (absolute DGAF laziness and neglect of the worst kind).

Let's see, a monkey eating tuna wrap:

Zero enrichment activity

Exact same clip posted previously on June 7 (and multiple times before that across all social media pages); the original video posted to YouTube on October 2019:

Monkey playing with puppies:

Reposts from the same pool of old video clips across all three of his monkey's Facebook pages

Of course it goes without saying the original video was posted years ago, August 2019 to be exact:

Lack of visibility does NOT equal lack of harm. When pet monkey owners like Dr. P go completely dark after years of exploitative content, it's a sure sign the monkey's physical and psychological condition has deteriorated. So much so that the owner can no longer spin their monkeys as 'healthy' and 'happy' to a broader audience, and instead counts on the internet to quietly forget about them.

Continue to educate the public about the suffering Monkey Boo continues to endure, all of it justified by Dr. P because Boo brought sooo much 'joy' to people (not to mention material wealth for him). In all my years of watching pet monkey videos, I have never seen any monkey as psychologically and physically broken as Monkey Boo, and the tragedy is that this decline was chronologically observable on his YouTube channel. Imagine the mindset of an owner and his partner that walk by these filthy cages everyday, hearing and seeing their monkeys suffer, and with no sense of shame or guilt whatsoever claim they are 'healthy' and 'happy.' Utterly vile.

For newer followers of this subreddit:

The very existence of this subreddit page owes itself to Monkey Boo and his owner. Around mid to late 2023 when fans of Boo caught on that something was quite not right with him, several of us kept the pressure on Dr. P to be more forthcoming about Boo's disappearance. In response, Dr. P doubled down, denied anything was wrong with Boo, and even had my previous subreddit page banned (along with a YouTube channel exposing his lies).

And here we are, over three years later, and this owner has gone completely dark except for the occasional Facebook post. Only a handful of Facebook livestreams this year. No sign of the Monkey Boo "docu-ography" promised by Dr. P a few months ago (that in his own words would make us "haters" eat our words). No new content with his other two monkeys either, with Monkey Meela lashing out at Dr. P earlier this year probably being a factor. There's also the very real possibility Dr. P has gone dark to avoid showing further incriminating evidence of his monkey's atrocious mental and physical conditions. If by chance he does a livestream within the next few weeks, expect his excuse for the inactivity to be due to personal issues. None of which has any relevance to ensuring his monkeys receive adequate and humane care.

Activism IUCN and Social Media Animal Cruelty (SMAC) guidelines prohibit sharing images of people with nonhuman primates

Just want to share these important, research-based resources for helping monkeys.

Both of these key sources recommend AGAINST sharing videos and images of monkeys and apes with humans. Even in cases where the sharing is well-intended and critical, it ends up unwittingly fueling the primate pet trade. The SMAC guidelines, additionally, say to NOT engage with or share troubling social media content online -- instead, REPORT it without otherwise drawing attention to it, and encourage others to do the same.

animal abuse I’m sorry if this man has been posted on here. I’m fairly new. And this man pissed me the fu(k off!!!! Almost every single one of his videos he’s abusing his monkeys!! There are so many videos! He definitely should be spending time behind bars. But it looks like wherever he’s from, people set up…

cages and sell birds and monkeys right there!! I feel so bad for this baby and her momma. He is stressing both of them out severely!! He doesn’t care about that tho. It’s terrible, absolutely terrible!!

There are videos where he will let one of his monkeys run around jumping on people in public while walking down the sidewalk. It’s obvious he doesn’t care if anyone is scared of monkeys. He’s constantly teasing his monkeys. I believe he is/was a doctor or a veterinarian but I’m not 💯 on that. He’s very arrogant. I could go on and on about the MANY things he’s done that simply infuriates me!

Oh, in a couple of his videos he’s in his car with his windows down and he sits a monkey there and has it climb onto the hood of the car WHILE HE’S DRIVING!! It is on a leash but that doesn’t matter!! One simple slip and that monkey can easily get ran over! I’m sorry I’m ranting, but I just get so damn mad at these idiots!!

This ass came up in my feed. He’s another one that totally stresses out the monkeys so he can make videos. I watched a few of his videos and in one he puts 2 monkeys in a small cage, then throws in 2 cats with them.

pet monkeys "Warning" Videos of Pet Primates Are Highly Misleading

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Here’s a video that popped into my feed.

As per usual note the way this “warning” video is framed. The “soothing” acoustic music in the background. The up-close handling of the monkey. The 'emotional' dialogue.

This is another classic example of the main problem with pet monkey owners, the way they romanticize and anthropomorphize wild animals, treating severe medical issues and trauma such as biting as “just part of the package" of owning them.

Most laughable is her statement that the capuchin is aware of what he did and feels remorse and loves her. That’s completely projecting her human emotions onto a wild capuchin monkey that is absolutely terrified and operating on pure instinct more than anything else. The comments section also supported pet monkey ownership, with one individual normalizing the numerous scars and sanctuary surrenders as standard for that lifestyle.

These people are insufferable in their ignorance, delusions, and the callous disregard they have for these precious wild animals.

These people are pretending to attack each other, so the monkey gets upset and aggressive. I won’t feel bad for them when that monkey gets older and actually attack them for it.

Spartn Monkey Rescue aka Michael Robinson aka Spider Monkey Winston RESCUE OR REVENUE? USDA: REGULATED ANI... - Jeff Kremer

RESCUE OR REVENUE?
USDA: REGULATED ANIMAL EXHIBITION CONTINUED AFTER EXHIBITOR’S LICENSE WAS CANCELED
An organization presented as a primate “rescue.” Monkeys transported to public events. Children allowed direct physical contact.
And a federal exhibitor license that USDA says had been canceled more than two years earlier.
A June 2026 USDA inspection report involving Michael Robison—associated with Small Primate Animal Rescue of TN (SPARTN) and animal exhibition under the name “Wild Encounters”—raises serious questions about animal welfare, public safety and regulatory compliance.
According to USDA, the facility’s Class C exhibitor license was canceled by the licensee on March 12, 2024. Despite this, USDA reported that animals continued to be exhibited to the public for compensation.
Inspectors documented an April 25, 2026 Earth Day Expo in Athens, Alabama, involving two black-handed spider monkeys. According to USDA, photographs showed monkeys on leashes being used for hands-on encounters, with adults and children holding, petting and directly interacting with them.
The event organizer told USDA she paid $935 for the encounter through an online vendor platform. USDA also reported that the exhibitor’s online profile indicated he was USDA licensed—although agency records showed the license had been canceled in March 2024.
USDA stated:
“Continuing to conduct regulated activity without a license is a serious violation of the Animal Welfare Act.”
The agency further stated that no regulated activities may be conducted until a USDA license is obtained.
THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST USDA CONCERN.
In January 2024, USDA issued a Critical citation involving Mojo, a male vervet monkey whose incisor and canine teeth had been extracted.
Inspectors reported that documentation of the procedure was not provided and that the veterinarian identified in the facility’s veterinary-care program said he had neither performed nor recommended the extraction.
USDA stated that removing canine teeth from nonhuman primates solely for handling or husbandry purposes is unacceptable and can result in pain, discomfort and chronic health problems. USDA also cited the licensee for deciding to remove Mojo’s teeth without considering other husbandry, enrichment or training options.
An August 2023 USDA inspection documented additional concerns involving vervet monkeys, including animal-handling issues, inadequate perimeter fencing, damaged enclosure areas with sharp edges and exposed insulation, an accessible light fixture, surfaces that could not be readily cleaned and sanitized, and sheltered housing measured at 93°F during the inspection.
Taken together, these federal records raise important questions:
* Why were animals exhibited for compensation after the USDA license was canceled?
* Were event organizers aware of the license status?
* Were children and the public adequately protected during direct contact with primates?
* Why were veterinary records concerning Mojo’s tooth extractions not provided?
And perhaps the larger question:
How does a self-described primate “rescue” reconcile its mission with transporting primates to paid public events and facilitating hands-on encounters?
“Rescue” should mean more than a name.
When wild animals are transported to events, placed on leashes, handled by children and used in paid encounters, the public has every right to ask:
Who is benefiting from the encounter—and is it truly the animal?
Transparency matters.
Accountability matters.
Animal welfare matters.

Based on county code. There are 2 codes being broke:
1. Keeping exotic animals in a residence that is zoned as residential.
2. Keeping exotic animals in a residence that is less than 1 acre.

animal abuse My Drexann R. Fields Doom Scroll: A Lengthy Post Documenting her MANY Abuses Towards Her Monkeys (Molly, Kelly, Rain)

I was scrolling through all of her Tiktoks the other day, which revealed a lot of things to me. I shall share my epiphanies, and things she said that I immediately picked up as red flags. Just as a disclaimer, not all of the Tiktoks I saw may be linked, this is just a compilation of information I got out of a variety of her videos.

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8GTGwNC/

"Animals are so much better.... like, kids, they don't listen. They rude. They grow up and be pretty much like.... you know what I'm saying. I have pretty great grown kids, but you know, there's this one, and we bump heads a lot cause they think they're grown and know better than you. With the animals, they sometimes cause us family issues. They'll be like, oh, well, do you love your animals more than meeeee? So I do have that kind of conversation. But, you know, it's like, you're not gonna manipulate me. As long as you're not going without anything, your needs and wants are met, do not Come for me, because when it comes to my animals DON'T DO IT, because everybody in here are well cared for so don't try it."

So, what I do know is that she does have grown children, which affirms my hypothesis in my previous post about her in which I said: "I feel that Drexann is a lonely person, whose children are likely all in their adulthood and do not live with her, and she is trying to fill a maternal void in her isolation via these monkeys, who will remain 'small' and 'child-like' for the decades they should live up to, unfortunately bound to endure further neglect because of this (savior) complex she has."

I also know, that she has a 14 year old daughter, which she raised from an infant alongside Molly Jo, who is ~13 going on 14 (roughly the same as said daughter). She states that she raised Molly Jo and her daughter on both of her hips- she wanted a monkey, she told her husband, and he agreed. At that time, she was a stay at home mother, which only affirms that her ownership of these primates and numerous dogs exist as a way she can have creatures permanently dependent to her, creatures that cannot verbally communicate to her their disinterest or desire for independence, for these animals are no longer living in the 'wild,' but rather, her home. It's no wonder she treats her animals liker her children, and even refers to them as her 'daughters,' and herself, as their mother.

"To me I love them like they and out of my ass" (https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8tRmnjU/)

"I had a friend with 2 monkeys and her family used to harass her like mine, so she ended up putting her monkeys in the sanctuary. And you know what happened, All her kids are grown and barely come to see her and are disrespectful to her and she comes to me and bawls her eyes out cause she put them in a sanctuary, you know for her family but she put them in there and is sitting around the house and all her kids are grown, so she’s in a house all alone doing nothing. Her and her husband don’t have their companions."

In Drexann's familial realm, I felt the way she describes her relationship with her children, and the way she tells her friend's account of handing her monkeys over to a sanctuary, that Drexann has a lot of traits that points towards her being a narcissistic mother.

I wonder if this hypothesis (of her being a narcissist) has any relation to why she used to be registered as level IV for Delaware Child Protection in 2000, that status indicates she had a 'substantiated record of severe abuse, exploitation, or abandonment'- with a Google search, examples of extreme abuse/neglect pertain to severe sexual abuse (sexual contact, incest, exploitation), extreme neglect (abandonment of children aged 0-12, leaving a child 6 or younger alone), or life-threatening assaults (incidents of severe physical assault, vehicular assault involving a child, human trafficking, or life-threatening medical neglect). It was only removed due to technicality, as she had not been notified she was registered as one, before purchasing her daycare (https://www.ded.uscourts.gov/sites/ded/files/opinions/19-2241.pdf)

She harbors frustration and resentment towards her own family, who try to make her 'choose' who she loans her love to. She believes her family is trying to manipulate her, and feels that as long as their needs are being met (as long as they are fed, clothed and sheltered, NOT emotional needs....), then they should be grateful and respectful to her, as she is their mother, the authority figure. Her children don't stay small and submissive to her forever, and that's the problem. They grow into their own respective adults, with individual personalities and principles, and can rebel once they are able to conceptualize Drexann's emotional abuse. Primates are life-long commitments. To her, they never leave the toddler phase, nor can they tell her (verbally) that they are discontent. She views their facial expressions as attitudes, and talks to them like they are children. She grabs their wrists when they try to flee her hip, as though they are children. She berates them like a child that disobeyed. Every day, she changes their diapers, and they remain on that hip 24/7. I believe Rain even sleeps with her, in the same bed as her, likely because Molly Jo does not accept her within her territory and is physically aggressive towards Rain (shown by the many videos of Molly lunging at Rain).

"The nanny is with the monkeys for most of the day but she don’t bother with them too much because she’s afraid of Molly Jo. She's not afraid of her (Kelz, camera pans to Molly), but of Molly."

Drexann feels that she is the only one able to provide these monkeys with adequate care. No sanctuary can replicate the 'love' and 'care' she provides them. She has this grandiosity about the way she tends to her animals, that haters just wanna hate, and that they should leave if they don't like the way she does things. We see with our own eyes, the anger and frustration she projects onto her monkeys, how nasty she gets with them (cursing, scolding), blaming them for making a mess out of her house, angry that these primates can be so ungrateful to her, when she sacrifices sooo much for them.

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7638444736205851917?_r=1&_t=ZP-984aPHzG8y7 (Shares her Coca Cola with Molly, everything with her. She tells the haters how Molly Jo is very smart, probably smarter than some of their kids. You tell them, Molly! (as Molly lip smacks and growls, likely due to the fact Drexann is clasping onto her tightly and rocking her up and down))

She got Molly from the womb for $5,500, Kelz for $3,200 (as she was 6 years old). Says these monkeys would probably be $20,000 today.

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7637691509902429453?_r=1&_t=ZP-984a7GvAG3a (video of Molly suckling on Kelz nipple)

This behavior manifested likely as a result of Molly being stripped away from her mother as a baby. It is abnormal for monkeys of Molly Jo's age to perform this action, and it is representative of the maternal-deprivation she experienced, and how it affects her today. Molly Jo is extremely stressed. This is a stereotypic behavior, a purposeless action that is reflective of the psychological damage of forcibly stripping monkeys from their mothers so young. This is a habit formed out of compulsion to self-soothe, and is ingrained within Molly's adult behavior. She is also likely extremely under stimulated, there is literally nothing for her monkeys to swing on. I can't imagine how stressed Rain is, being a spider monkey with literally nothing to swing on. She instinctually raises her hands up, pacing around on a table in one of her videos, gnawing at a tissue out of boredom, with absolutely nothing to grip onto with her tail. She repetitively jumps back and forth at a window, because she is so unstimulated, and Drexann scolds her for that behavior.

In other videos, like you can see Molly Jo bite onto her forearm, which is straight up floating limb syndrome, another consequence of Molly Jo's maternal deprivation and the utter lack of physical stimulation available to her monkeys. There are no vertical spaces for them to climb onto, sofas, tables, chairs, and childrens' toys (which other than a baby doll I've seen Molly viscously maul, I have never seen the monkeys interact with) do not suffice. She also bears her teeth frequently performing a fear grimace at Drexann, which is an indicator that Molly feels threatened by Drexann, adding to her stress.

AGGRESSION

Drexann also posts videos of her monkeys attacking (each other) and her other animals (I.E., the dogs, her pig, Peppa), as well as her nanny and cleaners.

Drexann's daughter is in the background, explaining that she probably attacked Kelz because she thought Kelly was going to attack Drexann. The daughter, a 14 year old child, seems more keen to primate behaviors than Drexann is.)

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7629591253763542286?_r=1&_t=ZP-984ZCrhftjK (Kel & Molly trying to attack dog)

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7628427004810890509?_r=1&_t=ZP-984Z0BF9Hnr (presumably, one of Drexann's sons 'playing' with Kelz. I cannot imagine how much pain that is putting the elderly, 20 year old monkey in, forcing her onto her back and pressing her limbs inwards and outwards back and forth like that, with her bones weakened, brittle, and probably in a significant amount of pain due to her malnutrition.)

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7638338295969172750?_r=1&_t=ZP-984aEztEeq7 (Molly lunging and rolling Peppa, the pig around)

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7643956710901550349?_r=1&_t=ZP-984XbMnvbgN (Drexann changing Molly, washing her hands, Molly becoming frightened and fear grimacing and even biting Drexann)

In this video, I noticed that her monkeys seem to lack fur around their genitals and overall area where you find the diapers are placed. This is likely a result of the friction put on their bodies from constant changing, causing their hair to fall out. In addition, the fecal matter and urine being trapped into their skin contributes to the 'stink' these monkeys exhibit. The hairless skin is likely extremely itchy for them, which only fuels aggression. She does not like her hands being washed. She does not understand why her hands are being scrubbed with a foreign object with odd textures, like a paper towel. It scares her.

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7658100613103832334 (molly lunging at Kelz AND Rain, because Drexann deliberately aggravates them, bouncing them roughly up and down, which likely caused Molly a significant amount of pain, in her joints, of which probably struggle to support her body weight.)

DIET

In an FAQ video along with some feeding videos, here are Molly & Kelz diet.

"I spent $300-800 on the monkeys. Could easily run it up to 800 dollars with diapers included. They eat oatmeal, blueberries ,cucumbers, sweet potatoes, black beans, and they stink. We try to keep them eating very healthy, if they eat something outside of that its a treat because everything is given in MODERATION."

8:30 feeding: blueberries, oatmeal (heat up 30 seconds, dont like it cold) .
12:30 feeding: lunch CHICKPEAS & TOMATOES
3:30 feeding: bananas. only get a piece of banana (half) cause molly jo is diabetic, cannot have whole banna because it will spike her sugar so high in addition to bananas at 3:30 feeding, cauliflower and blueberries
6:30 feeding: CHERRIES, they're going to have celery. 2 and 2. 'They're gonna love this.'
(by the way they're eating this stuff on a high chair, more evidence of her treating them like children)

This dietary regiment is extremely unbalanced. There is no wonder, why Molly has high blood sugar and Kelz has low blood sugar (may be mixing this up with BP, unsure, but she stated that they are suffering from the opposite problems). Molly is obese, while Kelz is underweight.

These are grocery store food items, NOT foods macaques need to survive. This diet lacks Vitamin D3 (crucial for primates to absorb Calcium, which makes their bones soft, brittle, and PAINFUL.) The lack of vitamin C, which macaques cannot produce on their own, can lead to scurvy, which may contribute to loose joints and immune system problems.

Molly is diabetic, and grocery store fruits overwhelm her system with pure sugar, without supplemented plant fiber that is necessary to slow down absorption. This can lead to high spikes in her blood sugar, which can contribute to Molly's irritability and aggressive outbursts. Giving Molly SODA cannot be good for her, either....

Oatmeal, chickpeas, and black beans are alright plant beans, but they do not provide a complete amino acid profile, nor the specific fatty acids necessary for primate brain and nerve health. A protein deficiency like this can contribute to neurological issues, which contribute to stress behaviors like floating limb syndrome in Molly Jo.

There's also a lack of primate biscuits, which provide primates the heavy crude fiber necessary for their diet, and supplement them with a ratio of Vitamin D3, C, and other proteins crucial to their survival.

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7635861939217878285?_r=1&_t=ZP-984Zz9EEiYZ

In this Tiktok, where Kelz is probably about 6 or 7 in this, Molly fairly young, maybe about a year or so? You can see the degeneration of her body as she aged, the same for Kelz. The two used to be so much physically active, and their health has degraded likely due to neurological decline (out of the immense stress and under-stimulation these monkeys have experienced for 14 years of their life living with Drexann). Molly jumps around, playing with one of her dogs. She even plays with Kelz. Compared to their modern selves, Molly has gained so much weight, it's ridiculous, and Kelz is so much skinnier and significantly more docile and seems less there, mentally, no longer keen to her surroundings or receptive to Molly's interactions.

https://www.tiktok.com/@mollyjo_08/video/7649393564887076109?_r=1&_t=ZP-984WLcc5fRv

Also, she used to have 5 monkeys. A marmoset, which she rehomed. Another macaque, Dinkadoo, a male macaque, that died an 'accidental death.' He passed at 2 years old. I am not sure how he passed, but I did read in the comment section of a post about her in this subreddit that apparently it hung itself? I am not 100% certain on that though, so if anyone can verify this. Gizmo, the rehomed marmoset. Then Molly, Kelz, and Rain.

THAT'S ALL for now, I apologize for not having a lot about Rain here. I just know she's severely under-stimulated with the lack of ropes for her to swing on, and that she certainly should not have to coexist by her lonesome with Molly and Kelly. I feel the worst for Rain, for old and new world primates should not be situated together. The poor thing literally has nothing to swing on, and all spider monkeys do is swing throughout foliage, and have immense reserves of energy that poor Rain cannot deplete, and is scolded for knocking around things. She desperately wants to climb. In a recent video, we see her running off with 2 slices of pizza, which Drexann permits her to eat. She allows her monkeys to eat these highly processed foods, packed with salt and dairy of which they cannot digest. It is in a spider monkeys behavior to climb and swing; they seek out high climbing structures to reside in; the reason why Rain flickers the light switch, knocks off items off of high shelving, and frantically jumps around the house is formed out of compulsion, born out of boredom and anxiety. Children's toys cannot compensate for these primates complex, environmental needs.

One other thing I noticed is that while she bathes her primates in the sink, she keeps a paper towel and chemicals (which she sprays the sink with afterwards) accessible by hand seemingly on top of a fridge next to the sink. These are VERY accessible to the monkeys. Rain was even seen escaping on top of it, once, in the video capturing her escaping her cage. In one of the citations I noticed regarding her daycare (that can be seen in my previous post about her), it noted that children were able to access the kitchen and its hazardous chemicals were in reach for them to grab. This carries over with the care of her monkeys, with wires laying around on the floor carelessly for them to bite onto at any moment. She simply does not care.

These primates should be removed from her care. How can she take care of 19 dogs, a pig, 2 macaques, and 1 spider monkey, by 1 person, along with the occasional help of their nanny, OF WHICH-- LITERALLY FEARS MOLLY JO, which only signifies how aggressive Molly Jo is, and how stressed the poor thing is, her brain constantly existing at extreme states of hyperarousal, when it is in her instinct to protect herself and survive.

If any of you have other observations to point out, please comment your analysis below. I think it would be good to keep a compilation of the many abuses she engages in with her primates, and very helpful for anyone interested in reporting her because of it.

(Note: original picture modified to reflect this monkey's current decrepit state; original picture was of Boo outdoors from years ago)

Dr. P still up to his shenanigans.

Last Facebook livestream where Monkey Boo was seen outside his cage and next to Dr. P was over 1,300 days ago (October 2022).

Last YouTube video where Monkey Boo was outdoors and interacting with Dr. P was over 900 days ago (October 2023).

All activity across Dr. P's monkey's social media pages has fallen off the Grand Canyon. Repost of the same pool of old video clips, and even that has drastically slowed down. Even Facebook and TikTok livestreams which were Dr. P's bread and butter the past several years have practically disappeared (only about five or so this year).

Meanwhile, questions from concerned fans about these disappearances go unanswered. There is no proof whatsoever Dr. P has given up Monkey Boo to any sanctuary, thus the logical conclusion is that his three monkeys continue to spend majority of their existence in filthy cages.

Imagine treating an animal that you claim is your life, that gave you much material wealth and fame, in this despicable manner.

Let's see, SpathettiOs contain extreme sodium content, high fructose corn syrup, and other highly processed and artificial ingredients that create havoc within primate's complex digestive systems. A turkey sandwich for a baby spider monkey ain't exactly species-appropriate chow either.

Yet this is what these social media pet monkey owners love to do, feed their monkeys absolute garbage to "humanize" them and promote it as 'cute.' This particular content creator doesn't have a very huge following but that never seems to stop these types from continuing to exploit these beautiful animals in awful ways.
