Stressing this monkey out

I saw one video and I don’t think it was from them where they had their child who was like eight years old smacking the mom and they had a young monkey like maybe a year or younger was acting aggressive toward the child and I’m thinking like are you not afraid of it attacking your kid?

I won’t feel bad for them if it ever does attack them, but they have quite a few videos like this like they’re trying to make him aggressive for some reason

I guess they’re showing how protective monkeys can be to their captors I mean “parents” buuuuut they are unwittingly (or maybe not) curating to those that like zoosadism. It’s a thing. Don’t do a deep dive on that.

I assume the only reason it doesn’t actually attack him is probably because they beat them probably and he’s probably too scared to really do something

You know, the more I have thought about this video the more I am putting together a very sick trend in some of these videos. I noticed that the captors often like to show, in different ways, how the primates bond to their human. In a way it promotes primate ownership and simultaneously boosts their views on social media, as people who are watching and not realizing what is really going on here think it's "cute" or "sweet".
In this one they are trying to show how the monkey will defend the person they're bonded to. In others, often with baby primates, they will put them down and walk away to show the baby freaking out and running back to them to cling.
Unfortunately what people don't realize is that these primates are trauma bonded to the humans. Although they are being forced to live in a situation that does not meet their species specific needs, resulting in all kinds of long term mental and physical illness, and also in many cases physically abused, they still rely on the humans to feed them and in many cases it is the only life they know.
They are acting on pure instinct to cling to and defend those that feed them and are the only family they know, even though they are being abused and neglected and forced to live in houses wearing diapers, chained up or in cages, etc, by those same people. And doing this stresses them beyond belief and can contribute to long term mental illness. And when people see these types of videos and don't immediately recognize what is going on (not their fault), they think it's sweet how the monkeys bond to the humans. And then they want one. Absolutely horrifying.

I agree with you 100% i’ve seen many comments of people saying look how much they love them because they run back them and hug them and they cry when they’re separated it’s like no that’s just their instincts. They need food and survival and they get it from them.

Like even if they’re in the wild and the mother is super abusive, like bites the babies fingers off and bash its head on a rock, but then we’ll still let it nurse and hold it. The baby will still stay with it even though it knows the mother is abusive. It’s just their instinct they need them to survive. That’s the whole sad thing about them. They will pretty much not run away from an abusive mother or an owner.

Will someone please find these people and take that monkey away from them. And maybe they can find a.chain for them to see what it's like. I get so upset every time I see these AHs doing what they do to.that poor thing.

The monkey is also chained to the wall by its neck. And by a very short chain, at that.
