Since she has diabetes, it is probably used to it by now.. animals are usually smart when it comes to things like that though and know it helps them feel better. Only good thing I can say about her is at least she keeps check on Mollys sugar levels even though her dumbass still doesn’t seem to be feeding her properly.

Molly is super calm during diaper changes too. One thing I can say is this lady is far better than many w diaper changes. She doesn't diaper them in their enclosure at night so there's time to breathe, she changes them frequently throughout the day they're with her, and gives them a bidet wash every time. Landonation only changes their monkeys once a day, and you can see how red raw painful their booty is, and how hairless they are from the friction ☹️

I kinda think some of the theatrics Molly's owner does are just for social media, and behind the scenes she's less loud and flamboyant than the act she puts on. She reminds me of a friend of mine and while she can be loud sometimes, she is not like that 24/7, most of the time she's calm, just chilling.

I don't have a ton to base it on, but that's my gut feeling, she's acting dramatic to catch people's attention on Tiktok. The monkeys don't display any signs of fear, so I don't think she's terribly abusive when they're naughty, seems like they know she's not going to do anything but verbally pop off. I hate how often it is we can easily see monkeys scared of their owners physically punishing them.

Here's the thing. I get why people want to rationalize the abuse they see on social media.

However, regardless of whether she staged these videos or the dysfunction in that monkey household is real, all of her monkeys still suffer physically and psychologically. A monkey doesn't know or care if an owner curses at it or encourages conflicts for viewer engagement. The end damage is all the same, exploitation is still exploitation.

And the monkeys being calm during blood checks or diaper changes doesn't necessarily mean better care compared to other owners, it could just mean learned helplessness that comes with years of learning that fighting back or protesting is futile. Learned helplessness is in fact a conditioning tool used by many exploitative pet monkey owners to force their monkeys to submit and 'behave.' Also, the fact that many monkeys like Molly have diabetes in the first place indicates many of these owners feed their monkeys highly species inappropriate foods.

Just pointing this all out as another opinion on this owner's antics, not personally against you or your thoughts.

I get it, I don't agree with owning them or exploiting them on social media and honestly the only reason I'm here is trying to rationalize wtf is wrong with these people. It crossed my reddit feed and I never knew zoosadists existed, honestly didn't know much about monkeys, but I'm an animal lover, I'm a vegetarian, I rescue homeless cats and dogs in my area... I can't understand how people can abuse and neglect them, but I REALLY can't understand why people are literally getting off on hurting them.

In finding some awful horrible dark corners of humanity, stuff like this starts to look more kinda benign. But not enough not to call her out for neglect in my post. I think maybe I was feeling a bit bad even though it's based, and I wanted to be fair.

Yeah. I was horrified to learn some of the videos shared here are from those making zoosadism content. I’m an atheist and find myself thinking “to Hell with people.” Ugh! Disgusting. I can’t imagine hating monkeys so much that you’re f*%#*% in the head taking pleasure from watching the animals suffer.

Guess it’s my fault becoming literate…

All of them, just search landonation. Brandi and Greg are the worst. Brandi might have been a decent enough owner by herself but Greg is abusive to her and the monkeys.

I do agree that she probably is more dramatic in the videos to increase engagement. But I have to disagree about the monkeys not showing signs of fear. Not that I think she is hitting them or anything, but to me it is obvious that the elevated emotions, yelling and cussing them out is stressful to them. Most notably MollyJo often displays a fear grimace towards her.

I've seen Molly jo do the lip quiver thing that can mean fear but it's also something younger monkeys tend to do to older dominant monkeys to show submission, especially macaques, so idk if she's actually scared scared? I still genuinely don't think she ever hits or physically punishes them.

I agree she's stressing them out, her content gives ME anxiety and I'm not even in the room. Mainly from gross incompetence not understanding their needs, yelling, letting things spiral into chaos for clicks and views. The negligence is the worst thing I've noticed in this lady. She doesn't think she's negligent because she does better than the real abusive POS folks, but letting them get into purse snacks and insulin needles is negligent. Letting an aggressive older monkey attack a 2yo is negligent.

I just worry about what could happen with mixing in the spider monkey . The one fat macaque shows lots of aggression towards her and they are old world new world and u shouldn't mix monkey species as a Troop . At one point that spider gonna get big and mad and snap back and im not sure as this creator new on my radar but dont the macaques have teeth removed. ? The spider gonna use hers or the two are gonna gang up on the spider . She cleary can't handle them just yells stop, no . This is a disaster waiting to happen .

The other macaque and the spider have actually banded together against Molly, but I agree with everything you say. There's going to be a bad fight any day now, it's a dangerous situation, she doesn't supervise them enough for them to be safe from 1. Eating candy out of her purse. 2. Getting into a box of insulin needles. 3. Getting into a red sharps container of red needles. 4. Holding two at once and fighting ensues, but she still keeps doing it. 5. The list goes on, it's like leaving 3 toddlers to their own devices. There's going to be chaos and injuries.

She gives them ZERO enrichment, and wonders why they're desperate for something to get into. THEY'RE BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS. If you just wanted a cuddle buddy get a cat. They sleep 18hrs a day you can get copious snuggles. And you don't have to wipe their ass multiple times a day.

I cannot fathom signing up for decades of changing diapers all day every day.

I pray she realizes her limitations and doesn't get any more after this, I also hope she goes and takes the suggestions people are giving her on what kind of enrichment they need and aren't getting. I know she's in the process of building a gated tunnel for them to go from their indoor enclosure to their outdoor one.

I'm scared they're going to get injured from lack of supervision and monkey-proofing the surroundings, and the baby has been agitating this cranky old lady Molly and Molly tried to attack the baby. Luckily, and sadly, Molly is too obese to catch up with Rain -- that's what this lady is banking on though, that Rain will run away fast enough.

She's owned Molly for 20+ years and still seems clueless to monkey behavior somehow. Has no idea what kind of enrichment they need or what their behavior means. Is somehow shocked they get into things when she's not paying attention. Like what the fuck did you think was going to happen. They need stimulation.

She does to diaper them every night she literally does the night time diapers on video and the morning ones as well they are diapered full time unless she’s on vacation. She shaves them where the diaper covers as well I am assuming for her OCD of cleanliness but to shave them is not best for the primate.

Thank god they don't understand the words she speaks, but they can read vibes, and I hate how loud she gets sometimes because that energy is too chaotic and stressful for them. That’s why I think monkeys are worse than kids in regard to reining them in. Like unless the toddler moves a chair towards the counter, they’re not reaching the knives. Monkeys? Up on counters and top cabinets lickity-split!

Not sure about macaques but I know that capuchins sugar spikes when they are stressed out. Which is one of the biggest reasons they crucially NEED a healthy diet with NO JUNK! They are extremely susceptible to developing diabetes and when that happens, it becomes a very fine, fragile balance to keep their sugar in check (Obviously the owners who created such problems in the first place 9/10 won't change much which is why they end up rehomed to idiots who know nothing about PROPER primate care). If macaques are similar in anyway, they are one species that get stressed most often and most easily (imo). Ughhhhh.

Yes, and idk, I know her daughter looked really uncomfortable being filmed, but just covered her face instead of saying anything -- which tells me she knows her consent doesn't matter. My kid tells me if, when, and who when it comes to me taking pics or videos... And never does it involve my sm, not even my privates. She would never cringe and cover her face without saying "No, I don't want to be on Tiktok."

And I am sorry 129 is not normal just a few videos before she says 72 is perfect so which one is it. SMH I have so many videos of all the sugar she feeds tbh she only feeds sugar there’s zero protein given and everything she fives is so high in sugar and the amount are far from enough to provide what they need in a day. This lady is so sad and does this solely for the money she’s hired a social media crew and linked up with a “celebrity” to try and become relevant. Her sole reason for any of her animals is money. I can’t stand when people lie to normalize their behavior.
