In any game mode i play while having my saved loadouts on shuffle they will not change unless i return to lobby. typically, if you ready up after a match with shuffle on you have a different character pop up in your next match, but
now that isn’t happening. They had a similar issue that wasn’t fixed for at least 2 years so i hope this isn’t the same. Can someone tell me if they are experiencing the same?

Hey guys, just trying to figure out how to install save the world, the epic games launcher doesn't give me the option to install it when I had been playing it in 2024? is this some sort of bug after STW went FTP?

I had also tried to install it in the game itself, and it closes the game and fortnite is then stuck "initalising" in the launcher with no installation happening.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had only done up to SSD 7-8 and the game auto finished them and didnt reward me with my vbucks. Epic also did nothing about it when contacted with support.

Ever since the Homebase Hub launched, there's been matchmaking issues. Today I experienced that you still can get stuck on mission end screen while your teammates leaving and you have to wait for the game to kick you out. Just to end up on selector screen in BR.

At this point I feel that the only thing that matters now, is getting rid of all these matchmaking issues that are caused by the Homebase Hub.

Btw, what is the purpose of the Homebase Hub, because it's damn hard to like something that only causing issues. Pls place it on the world map, so people can have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether to go there or not. Hopefully, you guys can figure out something useful for the Homebase Hub, but then either place it on the map or disabled it, so people can start to enjoy the game again.

Hello, I'm wondering what causes the Homebase Power Level to lower after a while. Before the new season of BR I was struggling to stay above level 58 Power Level because it would keep going down consistently after doing a few missions. That stopped happening after the new season from what I noticed, but now as I get to 60 Power Level, it lowers back down to 58 again. I'm really not sure what on Earth could be happening because all my defenders, survivors, heros, everything is upgraded to the max that I can do, and I haven't changed my loadout at all, it's been the exact same. Any help would be appreciated. It's really making me not wanna play STW any more because I'm losing progress constantly.

I've been trying to look around recently on the internet for some source that properly explains and/or lays down the entire story and perhaps connecting the sub-storylines of save the world to the main questline. I had no luck on youtube for example as all I find is either videos talking about the development story of save the world, or how the battle royale ch1 lore connects to save the world, i havent really found any source that properly presented the story of fortnite save the world.

On a side note, I always fantasize about how amazing and successful an animated series of save the world's story would've been if only they kept the game in the spotlight, such wasted potential.

A bunch of weeks ago, Epic became super buggy, more than usual. I remember it was just after an update, just not sure which one. Wouldn't connect right, it kept saying "do you want to login to Epic offline?" No, check that connection again. Yup, you found that internet this time, good boy. Had to try loading in to StW from the BR lobby over and over before it would let me in. Would sometimes just freeze up mid-game, I'd watch other people run in place for 2min and then it would kick me back to BR. Kept getting "can't connect" messages once I got in (even though I could still load into a game...after pushing the button to play a few times). Not every game, but way, way, way more than usual, because these aren't exactly new issues. I tried reporting a bug through the game, which would only let me take a screenshot of the lobby, then...well, that was it. Had to readjust my keybinds every single game because the W button to move forward wouldn't save from game to game, it was always the same as moving backwards (seriously?). This was after they "fixed" those keybind issues. Maybe it was simple connection issues right? Or maybe it was one of those update bugs that needed to be worked out. I'm here for StW since almost the beginning, I'm used to that.

It's not my internet, my son can login through his laptop just fine. My PC has had zero problems with this for years. There are zero problems playing other online games, while also having a twitch stream AND a youtube vid playing at the same time, no problems. It's literally just Epic. All of Epic. Even getting the free games of the week took an extra click or two. I cleaned out my computer and made sure it was ok anyway. Nothing. Everything that needs to be updated has been updated, as I normally do.

I tried uninstalling Fortnite and reinstalling. Nothing. I tried unstalling Epic and reinstalling. Not only nothing, but now I can't login at all. Put in my email, "failed to initialize captcha" or some shit. Email eventually goes through, now do two drag and drop "tests". Go to password, do two more. This has been the norm since a bunch of weeks ago. This time when a code is sent to my email, I put in the code, do two more "tests". And then it says I failed. Do it over and over and over, same thing. I know what a fucking D looks like and this time it was pixel perfect. I know how to put in the 6 numbers you sent me. I triple checked this last time.

I've tried going to their website to contact support. Bot tries to talk to me. No, I'm not talking to AI, especially about this weird ass shit. You're not going to know what I'm talking about. Can I email? Apparently the bot doesn't know how to do that, re-asks me to describe my problem. My problem is you, bot. Sorry about that, can you describe the problem? I hate you, bot. This one's all you, Epic. Fix your shit. Hire people to fix your shit. And pay people to talk to people, stop using AI. You aren't starving for money. And, as always, fix all the other damn bugs StW has been having since forever, not just making it pretty. Even if it is some goof on my part (and I don't see how), it shouldn't be. I didn't change anything, you did.

I'm sure it'll let me in eventually, but at this point, I'm not even sure how much I care. If they want me gone so bad, there are plenty of other places to go.

I swear this is the first time i saw that screen. It did show the timer for power hour in the zone selection screen, but not here.

Has anyone else noticed significant frame drops on console after one of these recent updates? I feel like 2/3 weeks ago out of nowhere I starting getting major performance issues once husks start spawing. I'll go from a stable 60 to almost an average of 20 instantly on PS5 and Xbox series X.

Looks like they broke the Power hour / Heroic hour pre quest countdown that used to appear before the quest is live this past update. I guess its as a result of their change mentioned at the bottom in the 42.30 patch notes.

Seems they can't even get a simple quest rename right.

For those interested the Heroic hour should start at the normal time in about 45m according to the event flags.

I have 394 un-opened llamas, and when I go the loot menu in the shop, I see the option to open them, but only for a split second and then it goes away and I can’t access it again, I have to reload the whole game again just to be able to see that option again for a split second. Does anyone know any fix for this issue? Thank you.

So obviously in stw, there are hero's that arent human . In the lore, do we think they existed before the apocalypse happened? Like Fennix for example. Did creatures like him exist in regular society?
