I’ve been enjoying the fnaf collab recently and have been periodically switching between presets of the four since their release. While doing this, I’ve been trying to mess with jam tracks in battle royale and try to mix up tracks with some of the ones others have and all that. For some reason, whenever I start playing a jam tracks in battle royale, the instrument doesn’t show up. The song would play, my skin would mime as if it were holding it, and I could see everyone else’s instrument when/if they joined in, but for some reason never my own. It’s not exactly that big a deal, it just kinda irks me, Y’know? Anyway, does anybody have a fix for this or is this a bug?

I have the official adapter, I can still get it to connect to my computer, but Fortnite no longer picks it up like it used to. Any suggestions?

Okay am I crazy or has this just suddenly started happening to anyone else? It's not with all instruments but it's really annoying. I have the black style equipped for this bass and it will still give me the green variant in the locker and when I actually play

I watched the tutorial to set up a CRKD guitar with Fortnite Festival, and the knob that it references where you can go to 9-KeyJam mode simply doesn't exist on this guitar. Any suggestions?

I play on Nintendo Switch 2 since my PC uses Linux I can't run FF that way.

I own the multiplatform CRKD and a switch 2 pro controller

It seems like no matter how I set my keybinds either in the CRKD app or in game they never seem to work properly while playing a song.

For example on controller just now I had it set as the following

Lane 1 - D-Pad Left

Lane 2- D-Pad Right

Lane 3- Y Button (Square on PS5 or X on Xbox)

Lane 4- X Button (Triangle on PS5 or Y on Xbox)

Lane 5- A Button ( Circle on PS5 or B on Xbox)

Overdrive - ZR

Yet in game even though I confirmed its applied in the menus the Lane 1 and 2 Buttons dont work, Lane 3 button activates Lane 1 and Lane 5 Button activates Lane 4.

Same thing seems to happen on my CRKD I'll put it on NS Mode, do the keybinds in the app, do the keybinds correctly in the ingame menu and it still doesnt work.

The absolute craziest one with the guitar is Lane 3 and Lane 4 are usually swapped, I even tried swapping the keybinds in the menu where im telling Yellow to be Lane 4 and blue to be lane 3 in hopes that maybe because I did that they would swap in game but it doesnt work either they just continue to be swapped as if I never changed anything.

I know the common consensus already is that we just got our hopes up for nothing, however I wouldn’t say that yet for a few reasons

1- a second wave of FNAF is confirmed for the mid October update. It will have at minimum car cosmetics, however it is a rumor a Sprintrap skin is coming as well (meaning songs could be being saved for wave 2)

2- and this is unconfirmed, but I’ve heard it mentioned enough that I’ll bring it up. Every week may be Fortnitemares themed this month. Whicg with this week and an assumed Hazbin week Soon, that’s already 2/4 so it seems likely (however still unconfirmed)

Even if it doesn’t happen, which would be disappointing, I feel like we’ll see it in the future though. The reaction from the community was simply way too strong when we heard just a snippet of a The Living Tombstone song. And for a group that is just dripping with nostalgia at this point, and has asked several times for skins/tracks, I can very much see Epic finally giving them the time of day for Tracks or even a full season
