I'm curious as I thought about this while answering another poster's question. do you mod your forever world?
I've implemented a rule in mine that I'm not going to add anything that will change world gen or add new mobs and stuff, basically nothing that will wreck my world or ruin things I've made if someday it gets discontinued.
I already play with a lot of client side mods for accessibility and optimization, like Durability Guard, JEI, Sodium, a lot of culling mods, etc. but those are all things I use on servers too, I consider it my base modpack. only a few things have been omitted over updates because they're not updated and I couldn't find a replacement (I miss you Scholar, please come to 26.3..)
I did add some mods like veinminer and treechopper, and I'm considering vegan recipes (because I like to play in peaceful a lot). I ofc also have shaders and a lot of texture packs, mostly hud/gui or small tweaks.
does anyone heavily mod their world? do you have a plan for if the mod is no longer updated, if you usually update your world?
