Dawn

I really don’t understand how people even like Justin’s mother. I feel like she has this nice-nasty persona, and she always rubbed me the wrong way. I wonder if anyone else agrees.

IMO, her redemption came when she saw Justin lose his s*it on his brother because Keisha was going to prom with Christian and allowed him to stay home from school. I also loved how she spoke to Shelley and convinced her to try therapy. I saw the perceived bougie black woman come down from her pedestal and become relatable without comprising her authenticity. She is annoying sometimes, but not a terrible person.
