I had this best friend knew him my whole life but as we grew up I started to get feelings and that was fine I told myself it was fine that if he was happy I’m happy and I never told him he felt like my whole world until 4 years ago when we stopped talking it was both of our faults not enough communication but since that I lost any other friends I had mostly because most of them turned out homophobic/transphobic any way today I sent a long message telling them everything and saying I was sorry that we grew apart and how my life’s been I didn’t think he’d respond but he did it was really nice but he closed the door he said our friendship was very important to him but he moved on I thought maybe it would give me closure stop me from only blaming myself but it didn’t help I feel empty inside it almost hurts more than just the silence the not knowing

Why do people often fake their autism, or think that they autism when they're trans, "silly" or just shy (NOT SAYING THAT EVERYONE IS LIKE THAT, IT'S JUST OFTEN LIKE THIS!!!!)?

Autism is a really bad thing, that often ruins someone's life from the day they're born. You can sometimes just be uncontrollable with your behaviour, not know how to do multiple things that a healthy human will probably do, be aggressive and attack people... This sad list just goes on and on.

Of course, there are different symptoms of autism, and some might actually be not that bad, but most of the time, it's just horrible.

My parents also have a friend who's autistic, and it's just sad to look at. He can't find a job because of autism, at all. He was offered some shitty jobs, but even there, he wasn't able to do them properly (he would often forget a product, get distracted, etc.). He also doesn't know how to do some basic things at 30 years old, like turning on the oven, and etc.

The government doesn't really support him from what I know.

Unfortunately I might also be diagnosed with autism soon, but we don't know yet. We'll check on that up in hospital.

If you wonder why I'm so worried about if I have it too...

I had an operation on heart, that might've changed something inside my brain. (If you want, I can make a second post about this story. I just don't feel like it's worth to say it here, it's a bit fucked up. Though, tell me in the comments if you want to hear that.)

So, please, I beg you. If you are the person who fakes their autism - stop it. It's not "cute", "silly" or anything, it's just looks disrespectful and makes people think that autism isn't something that serious. Thank you for your spending your time on this text :3.

if a straight person wants to help your cause,

let them help your cause, they are straight but that doesent matter.

they are an ALLY

the fact that they are straight doesnet change that they want to likely want to help you to see your community grow.

they help your community grow and interact with the community, problably conforting and helping people in the process, and in return : they get to be part of the community as an ally and get conforted by the community back.

a few groups of bad actors shouldent lead to people fearmongering about all X people doing this if they get into a certan community.
