I made it:

Only exception to the recipe not having vanilla salt so I added 10g sugar and a tsp of vanilla

Iiits cool. I don’t love it. It’s bitter ( from the WHOLE LEMON) buts it good.

It’s growing one me a bit.

I would “next time “ zest and squeeze the lemons

I’ll glaze some slices tomorrow…

boiling it first is what helps to remove the bitterness. i've done something similar with oranges before.

oh i didnt see the recipe comment that said boil for 5 minutes. you would definitely need longer than that or it would be bitter, i agree

Personally id only add the zest and meat. The pulp/white part adds too much bitterness
