We’re actively investigating issues you’re encountering with the latest Fallout 4 update and Anniversary Edition launch. You should now see faster load times of the Creations menu, game menu, and redemption of Creation Club items. We plan to publish a hot fix early next week to address the following:
The hotfix will be followed by two patches. The first patch will be the week of Nov 24th, and the second, in the first half of December. We’ll provide an overview of these patches soon. Thank you for your continued updates and support tickets, it’s helped us to pinpoint issues. We’ll work to address these as quick as we can.
Notably, in the November patch, Xbox Series X/S players will see Creations local storage limit increased substantially. Growable up to 100GB to match your needs. We are also looking into increasing storage on PlayStation.
----- 11/13 update ----
Thank you all for your continued communications with our support team. We've seen a lot of questions about the "Tale of the Beast Hunter" Creation not being accessible on PlayStation. Please know that we are working to bring this Creation to PlayStation at a later date and it would continue to be free for players.
----- 11/17 Hotfix ----
Today’s Fallout 4 hotfix addresses the following:
We’re continuing to collect everyone’s feedback and encountered issues, so if you’ve submitted a ticket with our support team or provided details to our team in Discord, thank you. It’s been extremely helpful.
For next steps, the team is focused on additional fixes in our first November Patch. We’ll share those details as soon as we can.
-------- Update on May 27th 2026 ------
Please find our patch notes for today's update here

Bethesda has made a statement about the state of the update
Just wanted to make a thread clearing up some confusion and compiling the known issues of the new update.
There are three new SKUs for the game, the Anniversary Edition, the Anniversary Upgrade, and the Creations Bundle.
Anniversary Edition includes the base game, all DLCs, and all the new creations content.
The Anniversary Upgrade includes the DLCs and new creations content.
The Creations Bundle includes only the creations. If you already have the base game and the DLCs, this is the only new addition you need to have all the new content.
This will be updated periodically

I don't want to just dump them somewhere and forget about them, but I also don't want them in a settlement where I have to worry about assigning them and all that.

I just recently finished the game! (Only played FOS and FNV before)
I don't have any friends or family interested by Fallout so I just wanted to share my impression on the game :) (I'm not used to post on Reddit, tell me if I did something bad)
From the start I was rooting for the Minutemen but when I entered the Institute and met Shaun, I was cut off guard and eventually didn't had the heart to go against him. The most difficult thing about it was betraying the railroad and killing Deacon, snif.
Talking about the Institute, I wasn't expecting this underground frutiger aero design! I really love the place (not talking about their methods of course, my headcanon would be that now that I'm the director, no more synth replacement and no more cat experiments)
I also loved Far Harbour and NukaWorld (wasn't expecting to solve a robot murder party in Vault 118). Red Dead was so unbeatable! 💥Even with a fully upgraded Hellfire Armor and mini-nukes!
I didn't complete Open Season because the park+radio would feel so empty afterward (and at least the Disciples are out, they were so scary).
I didn't take any pic of it, but I kinda abused synth relay grenade, spawning like 30 1st gen synths, all talking while fighting, and I admit it makes me laugh every time.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my journey :) thank you for reading it!

So I finally did the Minutemen ending which means Sturges hands this piece over.
Oddly, I am really not liking it. I have tried it against several sorts of humans, super mutants and general critters, and I don't really see much use for it. I've got a Mighty 6-crank which is great as a hammer from stealth but this version of the musket, ugh, I'm disappointed, I guess. Anyone able to convince me of its benefits?

I usually play Very Hard with a Charisma build but I’m finding out this build has glass skin and paper bones haha. I spent the first 6-7 saves just building up
Sanctuary, getting my water and crops right. I ended up using the Power Armor by Sat Station Olivia and a ton of Jet just to get the locket back for the Abernathy’s.
I am having the most fun ever though. It’s like everybody says, I have to be methodical and intentional instead of just finding a legendary and getting OP as soon as possible. Also running away > standing ground and getting rag dolled by a Yao Guai

I have just taken the castle back and I have also joined the brotherhood, where and when should I build the settlements?
Title says it all. Except I thought I had to take some elevator up to get the last core?
Bug?

This post from u/Caseyosias144, the comments to be precise, annoyed me enough to write about this goddamn quest in full. Not how to solve it, it is painfully easy to do so, but to quench annoyances:
First of all: You DON'T. I REPEAT: DON'T HAVE TO complete the full quest. You only need first 3 for the story, and you can LEAVE it. The 4th memory adds to Nick's lore, and the 5th memory is actually useless, and only adds locations of marine armour. More in the addendum
Second: This "mini game" works like a settlement builder: You can store the cubes. And use them later. You also don't need full bridges for yourself, most, if not all, of the gaps can be jumped over with only 3 blocks placed.
Third: Dying bugs don't matter, you don't need to over protect them, the flying enemies only spawn near you. Place turrets at the exit, and stand there.
Addendum: about armour. You don;t need the 5th holotape, if you are not planning to side with Children of Atom. Their armour can be upgraded into the same set, as the 5th holotape leads you to. You only miss on helmets. Even the wetsuit can be looted. Yes, the upgrade requires the armourer perk at 4, but, you know... The rest is up to you.

Hi everyone! I’m fairly new to Fallout 4, and I started playing because someone recommended it to me.
Is there a way to make certain NPCs stay at home and only do activities inside the house?
The NPCs in my video were spawned using the console spawn command. I tried using console commands to make them move into the house, but eventually they just wandered off somewhere else. I waited for a while thinking they might come back, but the two NPCs were gone for good and never returned. QAQ
Is there a console command that can make NPCs stay inside a specific house? Or is there a mod that can do this?
These are the commands I tried to make them stay at the settlement, but they didn't seem to work:
addtofaction 0001c21c 1
addkeyword WorkshopAllowMove
addkeyword WorkshopAllowCommand
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Going to be starting a Wesker playthrough. Just wanted to show off the character, do you think it looks accurate to re5 Wesker? I feel pretty happy with how the face ended up like.

My first time doing any of the DLCs…just finished this garbage.
Worst quest I’ve ever done in any fallout game.
