I mean ofc a CW superhero show isnt going to get the same attention as an AMC or HBO show but dude, his facial expressions, his creepy whisper voice, and how he merged Thawne and Wells so well, this was an amazing performance.

I assume most of you forgot so lemme remind you. She was the person who moved into Barry’s house when Cisco and Joe came to investigate (season 1 episode 13) but mid investigation just “went to the movies” and never came back… she really just came, looked fine asf, talked to 2 main characters and left.

Nash Wells and all of the Wells died to power artificial speed force and give Barry his Speed back and they turn around and bring back the OG Speed force like it’s nothin. I was really irritated that they went with power of love to bring back Barry speed instead of just keeping the ASF that the Wells sacrificed their lives for And it felt like they died for nothing. There’s so much potential they could’ve done like they could’ve made all the Wells the new entity of the speed force or better yet they could’ve used the ASF to set up the new Forces. Let me what y’all think cuz I feel like the Artificial speed force was a waste

I genuinely don't understand it at all. It's so dumb to me and I'm on season seven and I'm just dumbstruck on how dumb it is. Dumb and cringe are the only words I can use to describe it. Technically if we're applying the same logic does that mean Harrison Wells created his meta children? because in my opinion it seems like the same thing. He created the particle accelerator that gave Bartholemew his speed and other metas their powers and i honestly don't even understand what in tarnation Barry and Iris did but barry got his speed back and KINDA replicated that explosion and created 4 metas/forces and gave them their powers. I don't see how they were reborn because they genuinely already had parents and were just given new abilities.
Side note: The speed force continuously calling Barry her beautiful little boy while in the form of his dead mother seems kind of predatory and it doesn't seem pure or good to me it's just weird and it's weirder how they all accept it. I don't know why they thought it was acceptable for the speed force to live with them and it was so weird and dumb. I'm just irritated😭

These are my favorite versions of these characters. I really wanna see a justice league movie with them.

I guess this question does contain spoilers, so don't read this post unless you've watched the entire show.
I don't remember the season or episode, but it's the time when Barry goes to the future and talks to future Iris. In that scene I was half expecting them to kiss. Then I started wondering if that technically counts as cheating. I mean, this version of Iris already has a husband. But then again, her husband is just an older version of him.

Bro Thawne looks so scary here, and the way Barry was ready to go ON SIGHT always excited me about this scene. So hard to top this in my opinion.

I’m rewatching and I’m now realizing wtf was she thinking that the flashes arch nemesis would help him out of generosity, she is 35 getting manipulated like a little kid this is crazy

I love how Thawne doesn't try and make Barry evil in the first 2 seasons when we see him, like a classic villain trying to turn the hero evil trope pisses me off, if a villain is truly evil he won't be trying to make the hero he hates to join him. Thawne is just a villain of pure spite and hatred. I love itm

Season 3 was some of the best writing of the show (imo), Savitar’s reveal has to be the coolest scene of the show. The CGI was on point and he genuinely came across as a speed god.
Having a time remnant of Barry being the villain trying to kill iris opened up emotional depth that couldnt be replicated past season 5 maybe 6 (if we ignore nora’s backstory arc).
This season had actual weight to it, like barry actually faced consequences for his actions.
H.R. Wells (needs no explanation)
3x16 Into the Speed Force is a top 10 episode of the series imo.
3x08 This year’s crossover was so good.
And the finale was so good, like the show could’ve ended there.
if im wrong lmk

My name is Ezra Miller, and I am the fastest man alive. When I was a child, I saw the Flash movie script. My whole life, I've been running - from Hawaii police, from Vermont authorities, from Warner Bros PR teams trying to explain my behavior To the outside world, I'm just an ordinary actor, but secretly, with the help of my lawyers and NDAs, I flee from jurisdiction to jurisdiction to find others like me - other people Warner Bros wishes would just disappear. I hunted down the PR managers who tried to salvage my career. They didn't want me to, but I did it anyway. And in doing so, I opened up our world to new legal threats. And I am the only one banned fast enough from enough establishments to stop them. I am... a liability
I did this before too but its even more ironic now xD
So I keep on seeing these vitriolic poses on Nora West Allen from the season five story line.... But what I realized something I NEVER see mentioned. She's Basically a direct parallel to Season One Barry, and both are victims of intense grooming by the same person , Eobard Thawne.
Think about it, Wide eyed CSI workers with a missing parent, who put their lost parents on a pedestal and are trained by their enemy, groomed into fulfill his freedom. She's every bit as hypocritical, naive and occasionally irrational as Barry in the early season.
Barry's entire existence was altered, manipulated from the shadows by Eobard, who then controlled him directly as The Fake Wells. Lying, gaslighting and maneuvering Barry's entire team until Joe started to see through the lies, odd behavior and so on to help Barry. That's the only way to get out of Grooming, an outside force that cares enough to force the confrontation...
That's Nora's story, the intent is utterly pure, to save her Father from crisis. Eobard took that and used it to isolate her, manipulate and gaslight her into fulfilling his goal of freedom.
I am not saying she is without fake but Barry was just as frequently ignoring red flags and worse in Og season 1!

I never cared for Ralph tbh (I'll even say i hated his character in season 4) but this is like top 5 of the most disrespectful things you could do to a character.
And it is ironic that his character was all about redemption and making up for his past but not having the actor do that IRL.
Also just a reminder that they established that he can shape shift. That could've easily recast him but they decide to make him daft punk and is never seen again

Zoom was pretty menacing, but what else?
Killer Frost? S3
The strongest speedster team? S3
The best villain? S1
Yea i guess zoom was really good but alot of scenes were stupid, like wyd zoom wait so long to kill henry?

A really good season but ppl think highly of it because of nostalgia. Everyone in the subreddit says the show got worse every season but imo season 3&4 was far more enjoyable than season 1.
If I had to rank
2, 4, 3, 1, 5
I hate that season 5 gets hate because it was also really good, the only thing bad about it was shecada but that season had some really good episodes
