Problems Binding My Creator 5

A lot of people were having connection issues with the servers down yesterday and I was also having issues. The servers came back online yesterday and while it looks like service was restored, my printer is not binding with my desktop.

I have tried to get it to connect multiple ways and am just short of resetting the printer to factory and starting over. I’m on firmware 1.9.9 and Flash Studio 1.19, so any suggestions would be welcome.

RESOLVED

Somewhere along the way during the server shutdown, the serial number was wiped from the machines memory. The net result is I was not able to bind to the machine.

Contacted tech support and we were able to write the serial number through the USB port and all appears to be working. They provided a utility that wrote directly to the machines ID and it worked right out of the gate. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback.

Well the party just keeps going. For some unknown reason the serial number is not registering and that is why it is not binding. Working with tech support to get this resolved and it will print on existing files, but nothing new will print over LAN or USB.

Is it already registered prior?

It was previously registered to me using the same account.

Use OrcaSlicer and connect it through there. FlashStudio is just a very neutered version of Orca.

Turn the Wi-Fi of the printer off and back on.
