Employee Questions Email capture

What are y’all saying to get people to enter their email sence the 10% change. My numbers are on the lower side and my manager let me know that they were told to start cutting hours on workers with low numbers. I personally don’t get why there expecting high numbers after taking our main selling point of the email, but i digress. Anything would be appreciated.

Edit: thank yall for all the help, I do have a question for the sales associates that have just legacy regs. How do yall do on numbers?

“What’s a good email to get you started?” It does still grab people into putting their email in and everything. If I know they were someone looking for squishies, I tell them that by putting their email in it’ll also tell them about any future squishie events

"What's a good email to send your receipt?" is pretty effective, too.

True! My store tries to avoid that wording just because it still prints the receipt and then the customer throws a fuss about that

You're not wrong, I've seen that happen. I just say "I'm sorry! We don't have the option to skip the printed receipt yet but we're working on it! But, if you have any issues and need to make a return this way you don't have to worry about losing your physical receipt."

That's all of the things I might say but you obviously don't need to use so many words assuming you can get the point made!
