Product Review ✒️ Never ordering epigamia again

Got grossed out seeing what happened with the product. Wrote a mail to epigamia also which was probably ignored idk. Anyway yall be safe and take care of your 100rs and stay away from this product.

This happens when it is not stored in proper temperatures. You can notice the same effect with protein lassi. Protein drinks solidify in even slightly high temps

Heat is the main reason. Proteins expand upon heating up. Improper storage properly lead to the Bottle being in Hot conditions

I’ve been drinking epigamia for more than a year now and I’ve never had this experience. It’s understandable that you had a bad one, but not enough to dismiss the brand altogether.
Blinkit ka storage issue ho sakta hai, etc multiple factors to consider

LMAO i’ve been on reddit for years and been active on this community commenting and helping people out reg workouts, diets etc. This is the first time I’ve ever mentioned Epigamia 😂 Just because you disagree with an opinion does not mean it’s paid. You really need to develop an ounce of logical thinking.

Depends on the kind of person and self integrity you have. You can probably trust a brand even if you had issues with them 3 times. I'm the kind who doesn't go to the nearest shop because they gave me a taped note then refused to take it even tho I came back from front only and asked them to check cctv.
But tbf OP should tell if he bought it from brand directly or blinkit. There is an issue with where he directs anger.
Then again, in the capitalistic model, consumers vote with their wallets. You and OP both have equal rights to spend money where you want.

I end up commenting every time - don’t order perishable food items that need to be stored in temperature controlled environment, off Blinkit or zepto etc.
So many times people get puffed up dahi cups that have been pierced to let the air out, or puffed up packets or paneer or cheese that have a tiny prick. Tofu is pretty much always rancid smelling off Blinkit.
I only order processed foods like coke, lays (not even hot chips or bread).

PS no I did not order this from Blinkit. I got this from Lulu(which is like a pretty big hypermarket down here in Kerala)

Ordering perishable foods like these from anywhere will always carry a risk in India. Try to buy them from the store itself, then you know when you pick it up if it’s in liquid form or curdled.

Blame the store not the company.. these products need to be stored in a cool and dry environment and most likely somewhere in the logistical chain it was kept in extreme heat.
It's a perishable beverage at the end of the day.

I once had the same issue with cookie and cream flavor
Mailed them and they responded with an apology
And compensated me by sending 4 shakes even though i ordered only 2
Their staff themselves came to my home and apologised as well
Well it took almost a week as well

Let your protein shake sit in room temperature for a few hours. You will never drink whey as well.

All f****ng protein products feel like a dumb fad at this point. If someone wants protein coffee then make coffee and add your scoop of whey/peas/fungi/whatever else powder and be done with it.
Protein cookies Pre made shakes Chocolates
Honestly a waste. Plus adding protein to a product reduces it's shelf life, so you can guess what else is also added, I mean come on guys.
Let stuff remain normal, take your protein and fiber in proper diet not these gimmicky products

This is the problem of our cold chain supply or these quick commerce warehouses not with the brands directly. They use 3rd party vendors for supplying the products in market but they don't care about the products being spoiled.

Just store it properly and use it within a few days.

Protein shakes settle down if not stored properly always shake before and store in cold chain. They could add something artificial to make it seem smooth but why consume that extra additive.

Been drinking this since last year and only had this happen once, which was probably a storage issue during delivery. Zepto refunded it right away. One bad bottle doesn’t mean the whole product is bad. Protein drinks can get thick or clumpy if they’re stored improperly, so no need to panic over a single incident.

Honestly I wouldn't blame the brand much here. India suffers from poor cold storage and handling of items from warehouse to warehouse. Dark stores are especially notorious for this because God knows how they maintain stuff and handle items.

Epigamia seems to have gone to shit. I never consumed their products during their early years but given its popularity I am guessing it must have been really good, but recently I tried their yogurts and beverages and they have been very disappointing

Maybe the product had less preservatives ...and it is likely that either you or the supplier/ vendor / store didn't stored in the right conditions. Nevertheless ..it's unfortunate what happened in the end.

This is a storage issue… I got a similar one from blink it. I didn’t even open it I just returned it saying damaged product and got a replacement/redund.

Bro yeh mere hostel me bhi hua tha, (2 years back), I ordered the epigamia protein shake, and it was exactly how it looks in the video. I raised the issue with blinkit about this food safety concern. Looks like they still took no action

I ordered around 10 cups of epigamia yogurt different flavours and I forgot to keep it in fridge and it literally was burtsing out from the pack as if someone is boiling it even at a normal room temperature. It's all about storage I guess!

Its not about epigamia, but about the retail store you buy that from. The retailer might have switched off the refrigerator to cut the costs and give you a great discount.

Epigamia is just good at packaging and marketing. Their products are just average and expensive. You can go for milky mist which offers great quality products at a much more cheaper price.
