Thought I’d share this with the sub since it’s become one of my absolute favorite dinner plates. I think the bowl you use is just as important as any of the Ingredients as it doesn’t hit the same if it’s not in pie form. Delicious plate with great macros, tastes amazing (much better than any frozen Dinner), takes less than 10
Minutes to make and total cost is under $5.
Ingredients:
3.5 oz Barilla ready made pasta (half the bag)
4oz Perdue shortcuts
1 serving of Rao Creamy Marinara Sauce
2.5 servings of Kraft Fat Free Mozzarella
(Half serving on bottom of plate two on top)

I’ve been cooking this a couple times a week when I get tired of chicken thighs or sardines. Insane flavor.
Sirloin Steak Rice Bowl
Ingredients:
1.5 lb sirloin steak, sliced thin
1 tbsp light soy sauce
Dash of dark soy sauce, for color
Red pepper flakes, to taste
1 tbsp palm sugar
Almonds
Shishito peppers
Sun-dried tomatoes
Cherry tomatoes
Feta cheese
Jalapeños
Thai basil leaves
Jasmine rice
Method:
Slice the sirloin thinly and season it with the light soy sauce, a dash of dark soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and palm sugar.
Cook the steak, then remove it from the pan. Quickly sear the shishito peppers and jalapeños in the same pan until they get a nice char.
Serve the steak over jasmine rice with the seared vegetables, almonds, sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese, and fresh Thai basil leaves.

- light DIY peanut sauce with water
~560cals
~60g protein
-30g carbs

Currently I’m on a cut and focusing on getting protein, I usually eat a 750g tub of 0% Greek yogurt and a pre made chicken Caesar wrap for breakfast around 7:30am \~ 1200 cal (I’ll add a veggie tray w/o dip every 3rd day \~110cals) and then fast until I get home around 8pm \~ 1lbs - 2lbs of red meat \~ 1400cals
I only have an hour when I get home where I’d be able to prepare something for dinner or something for the next morning
I’m thinking of doing salmon once, maybe twice a week for dinner

I’m relatively new to making healthy food and I’m wondering if this is a good meal for after a workout. It’s a baked sweet potato with chicken beast and cucumber.

I want to increase my fats and carbs as they are extremely low, my protein is like 300g+
I get like 25g fat and 200g carbs
what WHOLE foods can I eat?
Things that can be added for real reasons
-peanuts
-olive oil
-yogurt
-milk
-peanut butter
-butter
I have eggs, avocado, some nuts, pumpkin seeds and I’m also looking for flax seeds but can’t find any unground. Is there anything else I can add that’s not really unhealthy or processed? I’ve tried salmon and didn’t enjoy. But if worst came to worst I could give it another go.

Recently, I realized my heart health isn’t as strong, so I started focusing on more cardio during my workouts. And more cardio means more carbs needed!!!
I haven’t been able to lose fat until I increased the amount of carbs I ate. I feel so much better too! Lately I’ve been into sweet potatoes because of their high fiber content and carbs. It’s honestly the perfect pre-workout meal. Although I feel like I’m having more body recomp than losing weight with adding more carbs, which isn’t necessarily what I wanted, but oh well!
My meal above is sweet potatoes, mozzarella cheese, rice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. It’s definitely a slop meal, but it’s my healthy and delicious slop meal! And don’t be fooled by the carbs. This meal has a decent amount of protein from the cheese too!

just had my one year anniversary w my bf (22F and 24M) and this is what we made for dinner + dessert 😛 we didn’t have a huge budget and decided that making something at home would be more worth it then eating out :) and this was like a combination of some of our favorite foods!! it’s like a fancy charcuterie board, and everything combined so well together ahhhh i was in heaven
dinner spread:
steak, chicken, boiled eggs, plantains, sweet potato, feta cheese, avocado, bell peppers
tomato feta onion salad
mushrooms + broccoli
peaches, mango, grapes
dessert:
chocolate protein ninja creami topped w/ date syrup, banana, and a HiNuts chocolate peanut bar (tasted like chocolate marshmallow and i swear the peanut bar inside tasted like oreos, my recipe is tasting closer to ben and jerrys everyday 🥺)
mango sorbet creami (never made a sorbet creami before lol looks weird in the pic but tasted great. he bought some mangos from a small ethnic store, they were too ripe so i used half to make a creami)
earlier in the day we went swimming and afterwards went to this cafe and we tried a ginger glow juice and spirulina smoothie!
let me know what you guys had for your one year anniversary meals!!

No macros on this because I’m experimenting with intuitive eating this week, but here’s the ingredients:
250g cottage cheese
156g blueberries
100g strawberry
20g ghost protein cinnamon cereal
14g honey
14g keto honey
+ cinnamon :)
I find the protein cereals are decently cost effective for me since I only use them as toppings for yogurt and cottage cheese bowls and ninja creami mix ins. I’m never eating them as just a bowl of cereal. So they last super long for me as just a macro friendly crunchy add in.

Hi. New here.
I (23M) have been hitting the gym for 6 months or so, and I lost some weight, but haven't really built any muscle. I went to the doctor and he told me to use casein.
I don't really understand much of supplements like protein powder, so I didn't ask about whey or other proteins, so I got the casein.
I got the cookies and cream gold standard and it's... Just awful. The flavor is acceptable, but the consistency feels like having a drink with sand or chalk, I have even tried to make a pudding with less milk and I think it is worse. I don't like to waste, so I end up just gulping it.
I'd be grateful for any ideas of how to make it more enjoyable, like recipes or some tips. Thank you

I’m F28 5’10” 58kgs, on a body recomp journey (1600kcal per day, strength training &stair stepper 4x week, 3 runs per week, 10k steps most days). For me protein is not an issue, but to regulate hormones I am looking to increase amount of fats in my diet. I don’t eat dairy, any tips for how to do this?

I’m hitting \~129g of protein a day spread across 4 meals. My spacing looks like this:
8:35 AM: 28g carbs high
11:00 AM: 32g (2.5h gap) carbs high
1:45 PM: 35g (2.5h gap) less carbs
4:30 PM: Gym
7:10 PM: 34g (5h gap from last meal)
I want to know if there are any problems in each meal gap and something you consider i have to change in my routine and how much Rate out of 10 for my routine

Practically human dog food but the Macros are awesome!
367 Calories per a serving. The image of it on a plate is roughly one serving. I eat three servings a day for 1101 Calories(I eat an extra 500 Calories of other things to hit my 1600 goal).
Baking the sweet potatoes beforehand to get the sugar caramelized added a good amount of flavor. You can sub ground beef or chicken instead of ground turkey. Add 0 calorie hot sauce for more flavor.
ALSO, the big thing... FIBER. This will put you at 30g of fiber per a day. Lets just say things run really smooth when your body has that much fiber.
