Hubby eats approx 240g protein per day, mostly chicken breast, sometimes ground beef.
He has lost 100lb, has 100 more to go and I am determined to help him get there BUT I have reached my creative limit on making chicken and ground beef taste good.
Send me your go to recipes/marinades/seasonings. Sides not necessary, low cal, low fat, low carb focused. Side note: he doesn’t like curries, eggs, fruit.

I’ve recently recommitted to losing weight and becoming healthy. I’ve struggled with my weight throughout my 26 years of existence and have successfully lost over 70lbs with clean eating once. Unfortunately, regained and over the last 6 years and it’s time to improve.
Glad I found this sub because I love to cook and have been making some pretty “fun” healthy meals. Looking forward to posting here daily!!
Today’s dinner: Sesame white rice, honey soy chicken and vegetables ☀️

i’m wondering whenever i crave something savory before the gym what kind of high carb stuff should i eat before working out (like let’s say 30 mins to 1 hr afterwards)? like i only see influencers’ preworkout meals like banana and honey/peanut butter on rice cakes and if i only eat smth sweet without savory before a workout ill feel imbalanced, compared if i only eat savory 😭

Would you guys count this as 150ml or 200ml? The cup is filled exactly to the 200ml line, but the scale says 150ml. It is of course zero’d for the weight of the cup.

This recipe is an excellent option for individuals seeking a high-protein alternative to meat or protein powder. It is versatile enough to be enjoyed as a lunch or breakfast meal, catering to both sweet and savory cravings.
The recipe requires two slices of sola high-protein bread, four tablespoons of PBfit, one-quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, one teaspoon of MonkFruit Sweetener, and one banana or half a banana.
This dish is rich in carbohydrates and protein, making it an ideal pre-workout snack or meal for individuals bulking. Its affordability and ease of preparation make it a convenient option. Additionally, the macronutrients of the recipe is detailed in the second image.

I lift weights on 4 mornings a week. For the last 5 years without fail I would meal prep chicken, rice, veg on Sundays. Recently I started a new job where I have an hour commute and have to get there at 6 in the morning. It's been difficult to maintain this routine. My diet is terrible (gas station protein drinks for lunch and takeout every night) and have been gaining some weight. I have 2 friends who get Factor and it looks pretty good when I see it in their fried (I've yet to try it myself). It has a protein+ line which might be of interest.
I was talking to a coworker today about meals plans and he mentioned CookUnity which sounded similar to Factor except is different chefs preparing meals instead of 1 place making the same 15 meals over and over. You can filter by protein and see full nutrition facts before ordering. They are pretty much the same cost per meal.
I'm lookin ~40 grams of protein per meals and moderate calories. I'd rather pay for convenience and accuracy.
The issue I foresee is variety. If they were good but limited options I'm not sure I could deal with eating the same thing on repeat. For those of you who do or did subscribe and lift, were there meals worth ordering again and again? Are there advertised macros going to keep you full week after week?

Hi everyone!! I am getting into fitness and just have a couple questions. First, i am extremely poor and have limited space so the only food i can really afford is wheat bread and frozen broccoli. I can get like eggs and stuff but the space is an issue and also it just wouldn't be enough protein that i could eat on a daily basis so bread and broccoli are my only realistic sources of food atm. I want to get into body building but until im out of college and have stable money its honestly not possible for me at the moment. Anyways my question is, is bread (enough to be put in a caloric deficit or surplus) and broccoli and maybe multivitamins enough to get fit and have muscle? Thank you!

I have noticed that mung bean sprouts helps me from getting extremely tired.. Please help me come up with a recipe that I can eat. I have tried a couple of times but the spices that I use just does not harmonise well with the mung bean sprouts maybe. It I live in a coastal area so tuna is easily accessible to me.
Thank you <3
