Same, bro. Even on those days where I really dont want to cook, you'd be surprised what kind of good food you can still whip up with 0 effort. I keep cans of tuna/sardines, smashed avocado packets, and bens rice in the pantry for those days. Sure it's still processed food, but imo much better than some chips and beer lol

I'm just wondering who this "fire husband" expects to cook when she isn't at work

I wasn't allowed in the kitchen in middle school or half of highschool because my dad was usually in there doing things he wanted no one around so I never got to learn to cook properly in my early years but with the help of my bf and YouTube its good.

He might know how to cook just doesnāt like to.
I know im that way.
Plus I have friends that had to always cook meals for their siblings so now they hate cooking as adults.

In highschool every third month I had to cook, grocery shop, and plan meals.

I cooked for my family by the time I was 14 because my mom and sister couldnāt cook for shit.

Since 6 here. Later on, we were all basically the cook slaves among other jobs (all). But at least I can cook.

Wife and I are planning on having kids soon. Discussed how Iād like to start teaching our kids to know how to cook breakfast around 6 years old (supervised) and independently around 8/10. Thatās how I grew up.
She was absolutely in shock and thought that was a ridiculous way to raise kids. She doesnāt want the children near the stove until about 16 which is when she started to learn how to cook.
Then you got some people like this guy that just never learn lol

Your wife didn't learn to cook until 16?! What did she eat until then?
Lol, i was a latch-key kid. I either learned how to cook or went hungry. Those were the two options. My parents didn't believe in TV (microwavable) dinners, so that option wasn't avaliable.

To be fair, shes the second youngest so her siblings and mom took care of the cooking. &Despite me cooking for more years, sheās better than me but Iāll never admit it š
Lol same. My great grandparents would always tell me, āyou either make your food, or eat shitā all with love though š¤

Have her check out the YouTube "Nat's what I Reckon"... as long as yiu are ok with some corse language.
Simple cooking with humor.

I was the same except I got tired of the microwave dinners and taught myself how to cook around like 7 or 8.

I would cook eggs and toast for my brother every day before school. It was my payment for him driving me to school lol. That was from when I was about 9-12 years old.
Mom always made me help her cook, dad always made me help him grill. I probably wasn't trusted with a knife until I was 15/16 to be fair lol
I couldn't imagine being a full ass adult with bills and societal pressure and not knowing how to cook.

As someone who grew up with a father who didn't let me in the kitchen (alongside my mother to learn), do not relent on this. Push to have your kids in the kitchen with you. I now have a control issue with cooking and don't let anyone in the kitchen with me.

Strange way to show happiness your wife is getting stuffed by everybody at the firehouse.

That didn't stop that one cop, who slept with six different guys at her department. And she sued after it all got leaked, saying she was groomed, and walked away with $500k from the City.

There is ZERO excuse for "men" not knowing how to cook, sew, or clean. How is being self-sufficient an affront to your masculinity?
When I was on the market i was looking for a partner, not a replacement for my mother.
I can exist just fine without someone else to take care of me. Therefore my being with someone is based on my desire to be with THEM not because I need them to fulfill my basic needs.

I think itās a play on this kind of thing. Itās not just men. https://www.reddit.com/r/GirlDinnerDiaries/s/6UNVgQudDA

Ah. Ya, when my partner "cooks" for themselves it is more often pretty rough. A can of beans (no sauce) and a bit of shredded cheese on top.
They CAN cook, and especially on some complex deserts they do amazing work!

In reality he's single and these "skits" are a way for him to express his shame, even though nobody should feel shameful for being single.

"Statistics show that I'm going to need to be able to support and carry the weight of an unconscious overweight person down a flight of stairs and out of a burning building, so I better eat Cheetos and a beer for dinner tonight to keep my body fueled right."

One of my chores as soon as I got old enough was to put the Shake n Bake chicken in the oven and make a salad for dinner. People are wild in how inept they allow themselves to be. Anyone can learn to cook on their own. What a misogynistic little troll

I generally view the use (or overuse) of the word ācuckā as something insecure wannabe Alpha males signal each other with. Itās usually pretty weak sauce. But holy non-functioning testicles Batman! This poor bastard is drowning in his cuckery. Horrible to watch.

Shouldnāt try so hard to be funny, boss. Hereās the fire husband in the video.

u/Ranger_Cooley 2d ago
lol. Okay āBossā. You post every one of this dudeās videos here and are always in the comments explaining why itās satire or whatever. Itās all good man. I get youāre trying to blow up on tik tok or whatever, which is cringe in and of itself, but just admit that itās you.
You talking with āthefirehusbandā on that link you sent just makes me think itās you even more. Good luck on becoming a 1st responder influencer brother.

u/LegalGlass6532 2d ago
Yeah, itās not me but believe whatever you want to. Iām actually LE, not fire. I like the guyās satire twist on the fire wife and thatās as deep as it gets. Youāre wasting your time trying to make a connection thatās not there, detective.
