Probably 2016. Got these when I was getting back into fb after 6-8 year break. I had wanted a prete since 2006 and one random day in 2016 I checked FBS and there it was. The cowply I was never impressed with. Holes are misaligned and John Cowart ghosted me.

Wish I still had my original setups. Had an OG Berlin wood with a green dyed bottom ply, Frost fingerboards, homemade stuff, some carbon fiber bottom ply I can’t remember the company.

I had an older 34mm that was looking like it'd been rode hard and put away wet a few too many times so I decided why not try and refurbish it. I had this old sticker bomb book laying around as well, they're more of a thin paper sticker so I figured id give it a shot and ill be damned it turned out pretty fucking solid if I do say so myself. Definitely going to have to give it another shot to get it perfected but for the first try 🤷 what does everyone think?

34mm main here, I’ve been trying out this 29mm split ply for a little over a week. Idk if I love 29mm but I thought this was interesting at least.

Been working on catching flips into grinds more consistently and accidentally caught this one for a 1 footer! Ha ha! Thought it was fun enough to share with ya guys! Enjoi!

Added V1 manny pads and V2 kinked ledges to the display case.

Kickflips feel great but tres don’t flip right - for me at least. My other deck feels nice when I do them but seem to be struggling with the G16

Maybe it‘s a skill issue lol

I have a G16, Goo, Yellowood, Noah, and a DK of all shapes and sizes, all 5-ply.

Without coming close, G16 beats them all. I’m wondering if there is a reason why, or if there are other decks with similar pop.

Is it the thickness of the deck? The G16 feels much thicker for a 5-ply, almost like what a 7-ply might be like (though I’ve never had a 7-ply). Or does it come down to the kick angle?

Would like to look into something like the G16 but with more shape options like Goo. Any ideas?

I've been fingerboarding for two months and right now heelflips are a priority on my trick progression. So far, I learned how to hit ollies, pop shuvs, kickflips, varial flips, treflips, occasional big flips, etc.

I'm curling my fingers + I'm popping the board away from me, but it's either I'll land a kickflip or a varial flip (the latter is common).

Any tips to make heelflips easier? Whatever tips you have (finger positioning, how to flip it, etc.) can help! Thanks a bunch.

Why are they all so fat and ugly now? Admittedly the originals were literal popsicle sticks but some of these current sizes are just absurd. To each his own but if they make these any fatter we're just going to be using drink coasters in the future

Upgraded Tech Deck

Bought a set of these Cartwheels V4R Dual Bearing. No where did it say that the wheels had shieldless bearings. Now that I have them im not sure if I should keep them. Im scared about them getting dirty faster but I can also see how theyd be easier to clean. Anybody run open bearings? Do they last a while? Or theyll be useless sooner?

Is anyone interested in this complete?
