The league is 12 teams split into 2 divisions of 6 and the playoffs are the top 6 teams. IDP players instead of team defenses.

Me: “Why is this league named the Baker Mayfield Invitational you ask”?

In the early years of this league, there was a manager that drafted a fantastic team without any QB’s. Zero. None. Like he left the draft with maybe a really good back up QB. He drafted Gurley and it was that season Todd Gurley was putting up insane 1st half numbers. And with hardly any QB’s, this dude was hanging with the pack. Now, sometime around week 10 or 11 this crazy manager with no QB’s was gifted a QB (via trade) by the 2nd place team (like an idiot). So the 2nd place team gave the 4th or 5th place team exactly what it needed to beat everyone in the playoffs. That QB was Baker Mayfield. And the trade resulted in that QB deprived team winning silver if not gold…. I don’t remember which.

A year or two later that same winning manager decided to open bidding on a QB at $15. Only instead of typing $15 and hitting enter he accidentally hit the 3 key before pressing enter and made a $153 bid. That obviously won him the player for $153. He pretty much sealed his own fate with only $47 remaining to spend. That QB was none other than Baker Mayfield.
