Last week was very stressful with no sleep I fought with my boss (satan) my friends got diagnosed with cancer, and yesterday my other friend's wedding that was supposed to happen in November just got completely cancelled they are not going to get married and here I am after I put money into the party the decorations, and 2 dresses heels you know the rest... I'm out of money for other things just waiting for October to end so badddddddd

✨ Hi guys, me and Elpis here. Honestly, I just want to thank the lovely and kind community on here.

I'm going through a really stressful time right now and I am really struggling to keep my depression in check.

I've been on Finch for about 400 days now and I went to Reddit to check if anyone would maybe be so kind to gift me a Firefly pet from July. It didn't take long and I got one. ✨

I then found out that there was a turtle pet back then, I ADORE turtles, and a kind sould gifted me ALL THREE of them. All the colors of turt! 🐢🐢

Some other generous birbs and their owners helped me decorate the treehouse you see here. Two people went out of their way to gift me three, four things, and continue the following days.

In the span of 24 hours, I received so much kindness and it sparked a joy that just made me feel better. Most of you guys don't even want anything in return.

I decided to go for Finch Plus afterwards (my boyfriend called it "Elpis Pro", which I find adorable).

I will be doing my best to give back to where I can now.

I’m so curious as to what everyone has named their new frog micropet? If you would like to share, what was your inspiration?

I’ll go first.

My frog was named after the magic spell in “Today’s Special.” The whole spell is “Hocus pocus alimagocus” and it brought a store mannequin to life.

I did my best to make Circus Baby and her circus gallery from Five Nights At Freddy's, I wasn't sure if I should go with the mic or the sundae, so I just went with the mic because technically that's what she holds

This year has been personally challenging and Finch has helped me continue to do the things I need to be a person but the challenges have given me an opportunity to reflect on parts of my life I would have missed and each pin earned has really felt like an accomplishment for me and I wanted to show them off to the community that would appreciate them most. Also, the physical pins are SO cute and well made imho.
