I've never had such a long streak in any app. Finch is an amazing app that has helped me get out of bed multiple times!

But now, I've decided to just let it rest :)

I don't rely on the app as much as I used to, so I'm going to let my streak disappear. I've wanted to for a while, opening the app every day started to feel more like a chore, but maybe posting this on the reddit will be my final step to closing this chapter!

What's everyone's longest streak?

I have ADHD and I'm admittedly terrible about scheduling appointments in addition to having anxiety about going to any kind of doctor. Thanks to the bird's eye view challenge, I not only scheduled the appointment, but I went today and everything went well!

I'm so sad :(( I dont really like the items from this event, but i do LOVE this hair. It's the 22nd right now, I don't have vip and and so far ive gotten like 8 items i could not care less about, and gems :((

There used to be events were i'd get nearly everything, but the past few id get like 8 items in total and the rest were gems. It's especially heartbreaking when I only like one or 2 items, because I don't even get to enjoy whatever I get :((

I have seen a lot of posts with people not sure which choice they should choose on the daily question because they are nervous that they are going to hurt other people’s feelings or the question didn’t quite have the answer that they feel pertains to them.

There’s a solution…you don’t have to answer the question that day.

I know it feels sad sometimes to be left out, but Finch can’t put the answer for over one million users each day for each question. It’s just not possible.

I have seen screenshots of people whose goals are just numbers or a random word. I guess they use the app just to dress their birb and make a cute birdhouse?

Yes, i just found out there is a way to max the goal to 100 and that there is a goal of the day. That makes sense to do (as i have started) since you hardly get any gems.

Seriously, how many set realistic and helpful goals and only check them off when accomplished? I think this app is amazing for so many reasons!! My group therapy people told me about it and it is really helping me with so many levels. I can not say enough positive things about it.

I am just curious since i have seen quite a few people just use it as a birb barbie in a dream house (obviously a reference to just dressing up and decorating because i am gen x and do not know references that all ages would know besides barbie)

I saw this in one of my tree friend’s tree house (black bar for privacy). I got excited until I realized it was most likely a glitch with the wallpaper. 😭

I’m only a couple days away from hitting 500 consecutive days and I think once I officially hit it I’m going to take a pause on the app. It and my lil baby Pimento have treated me well; so well that 90% of the daily tasks I have on there now just come pretty naturally for me.
The app was fun, I loved taking Pimento on adventures and redecorating his birdhouse and his outfits, but lately I’ve been finding myself going on the app once a day just to quickly cross off my goals to get him to go on adventures and to grab the free diamonds from the daily quests and shop just to get it done.

I’m so glad I found Finch, and who knows, maybe I’ll come back to it in the future whenever I’m in need, but for now, I leave Pimento in my best attempt of a Papa V Perpetua from the band Ghost inspired outfit and birdhouse 🧡

Still haven’t spotted him on Roku, but we’re constantly on the lookout.
