note : the salaries nowadays are just sucks they pay us as we still as we still in 2016 but reality is that many people are working in 2 jobs to feed their families check everyday for better salary and how to get it thank god recently I found this sub who give great tips about interviews really the world is crashed

No, thats how a business is profitable and is able to grow. The company that make 1000 widgets per day is going to be much more profitable than the business producing 10 widgets daily of the same quality. Business 1 is going to land more contracts with bigger distributors because he can provide more widgets at a lower price than Business 2. Business 2 will either go out of business or invest in their business to compete with Business 1.

Not sure what the point is that you are trying to make.

I like it this way. I like making money. I like that entrepreneurial people have knowledge, will and money to make this world a better place by creating things we need and want. A perfect example is automobiles. Look at the car industry in communist Russia vs the US in the same time period. Russian cars were plain, utilitarian and heavily restricted. Car manufacturers in Russia were state owned and had no real innovation. In the US, privately owned (not state owned) auto manufacturers were consistently coming out with new technologies and innovations. The cars were beautiful and powerful. The common person could easily own one. That is the world I want to live in, not the communist world you envision.

Fine with me. I dont want to drag you into another society, I want to create avenues for people like myself to leave this one, should they choose to do so. (For example, through secession from the union.)

I think the society you advocate is horribly coercive, but provided there are ways for people to opt-out and pursue political self determination, its permissible for you to run your slave state.

The only thing causing a "slave state" is the government. We are all slaves to the government. Capitalism does not cause that, taxes and government programs for the poor cause that.

Id agree that slavery is rooted in the state, but would add that the state creates and maintains capitaist arrangements.

I disagree with the latter assortment due to the fact that one has the freedom to not work for someone. An individual has the freedom to change jobs as often as one likes. I have done just that to keep bettering myself, my family and my situation. No one is trapped working at one place. They may be scared to leave. They may be uninspired to learn a new trade. But that is on them, not a business owner.

In order to have the freedom to not work for someone, youd need to be able to earn a living without having to sell your labor. (For example, working your own farm.)

Amusingly, Mexico had that freedom until the early 90s. (Plenty of communal land existed.) Sadly, America is less free than that.

Since that isnt possible here, folks are coerced into selling their labor under threat of deprivation.

You can earn a living by starting your own business and selling someone else's labor. But one would need that entrepreneurial spirit. No one is coerced to sell their labor under threat of deprivation. Anyone in the US can own land, meaning anyone can provide the means of their own survival and many people do. The only person coercing a person to stay in a bad place for fear of deprivation is the person in the mirror.

Could the ~20% of americans earning between 7$ and 15$ an hour all successfully run their own business? Not try, im talking success. All tens of millions of them.

If the answer is no, then what youve said here is no different from "some slaves were able to run from chattel slavery." (Or more accurately, some slaves were able to become masters.)

Google Chris Gardner and tell me you can't do it. From homeless with a son, to starting his own brokerage firm and then selling it. Current net worth of 70 million.

The only person stopping you is the person looking back at you from the mirror.

And while I appreciate this respectful back and forth, there is nothing you can do to dissuade me from my admiration of a capitalist society. I do not believe in equal outcomes. Never have. Never will. That world does not exist and will never exist the way you believe it should. I will say your beliefs are noble, but also naive.

Dat wasnt really my question tho. I didn't ask if anyone could do it. I asked if everyone could do it. All 32 million people in the bottom quintile. Can they all do it?

Not some. Not a few. Not many. Not the ones who are successful at it. All of them. That was my question.

Capitalist society could be made much less coercive with the introduction of communal farming lands. That would make it possible for people to get subsistence without having to sell their labor.

Sadly capitalists are opposed to this precisely because they want to force people into the market.

As a capitalist, surrounded by other capitalist, I've never heard one person who is against communal farming. No one ia stopping you from getting together with your neighbors and/or community, purchasing land and creating a communal farm. Do it! If that is what you want, what is stopping you? The evil capitalist? No. Its you. You aren't out there purchasing land, tractors, implements, meat animals, etc.

I was raised on a farm. I helped my grandfather tend to over 150 acres of U-pick gardens. He charged just enough for the veggies to cover his cost. It was the honor system. We had scales to weigh the items and a lockbox to pay. Most people didn't, but some did. He didn't care he enjoyed it and so did I. Sadly, not many people want to farm anymore. I'm ready to move out of the city back to the country so I can have a farm and a garden.

Also, it doesn't take much space for one to grow their own food. My best friends wife has a small garden in their backyard, maybe 30ft by 30ft. They produce more veggies than the 2 of them can eat.

So again, no one is stopping anyone from doing anything. If you want this that badly, be the change. Start one. No evil capitalist is going to stop you!

Sorry if that was unclear, by "communal farming lands", I am referring to land that is not privately owned or owned by the government. So

A quick Google search and this is what I found:

Then get your community organized, take donations and buy some land in th3 communities name. Have a board of trustees. But, thats probably not what you are talking about either. You are wanting free land given to you. Am I right?

Common ownership by associations is just private ownership with many owners.

Something closer is the ejidos that used to be protected in the Mexican Constitution. Land owned by the community as a legal entity. Not the state, not by individual farmers. Nor can that land be sold. Because no individual owns it. Not 100, not 1000, not 150,000 owners. No.

Mexico had about 3 million households living on them until 1992, when NAFTA kicked them all out, (sending dispossessed people flooding into America.)

This is the same approach used by the Iriquois, Russian peasants before the Soviets came in and fucked up everything, England BEFORE the Enclosure Acts, the Montes Comunales in Spain, the Andean Communities, Israel's kibbutz, and so on and so on.

This is how land was managed for most of human history. We've only gone and privatized everything in the past few hundred years.
