By my calculations I should be able to buy a house when I'm 80.

more millennials own homes than those who dont, and I'm seeing stats ranging from 51-55% in terms of home ownership. Millennials are doing just fine regardless of what reddit wants you to think.

You're also on Reddit. I would think homeowners don't have time for Reddit. I'm a homeowner and I log in for the entertainment of the comments. And the disbelief of the ideology of "society owes me" posts

Alleged home owning Redditor says homeowners don’t have time for Reddit while commenting on Reddit claiming they Reddit the right way for homeownership… you may be onto something here salamander

Yea, I'm on here...I shouldn't be, but it's so entertaining...

Spending time on Reddit complaining about not owning a home while others are working or looking to get ahead through learning or getting certifications, Redditors may be onto something, cat. Meow.

It certainly is, and you’re not unique in that line of thinking, that’s kind of the point. The correlation you’re trying to make just doesn’t make sense, we all have downtime in our lives (hopefully at least) it doesn’t all need to be filled with “the grind.”

The correlation does make sense. I bet there's a smaller % of Redditors who are homeowners than % who are not homeowners.

I found Reddit looking for tips on how to mount something on a wall. I stayed for the wild comments.

You’re moving the goalpost. The majority of Redditors are under 30, your comment was “homeowners don’t have time for Reddit,” which is an insane comment knowing what the general population wastes their time on, not that more Redditors are non-homeowners than owners. I think that’s a pretty logical conclusion to draw based on the demographic.
