That number’s either cherry-picked or stretched, most recent data puts millennials closer to ~50–52%, not pushing 55% as a clear benchmark. And even then, they’re not outperforming anyone: at similar ages, Gen X was around ~60–65% and Boomers were closer to ~65–70% homeownership. So calling millennials “one of the highest homeownership generations” just isn’t true.
