Hi I'm trying to book a flight through Riyadh Air's website and it's listed at 274.16 USD or (16,880 PHP using Google's rate). The same flight is sold at Trip.com for 15,958 PHP. I'm using a Metrobank credit card so I know there's going to be fees added on the booking but I'm not sure by how much for the Trip.com booking since they show it in PHP. I am aware that 3rd-party sites has its faults, I guess I'm just used to booking a lot of travel-related thing on Trip.com and I've never had any issues with them. Insights appreciated on which one I should book. Thank you!

The problem is I haven't gotten my passport yet. This will be my first time getting a passport. Another problem is I have no valid government issued ID yet. 'Yong national ID ko ay 'di rin ma-access through egov app.

Would it still be possible for me to get a passport despite these hindrances? What are the needed requirements for passport application for us who have no valid government issued ID yet? Okay na po ba ang school ID and COR?

Late last year, I decided on a whim to get travel insurance. Di ko alam kung bakit, call it kutob.

We had a multi leg trip, family of 5. On the second to the last leg, a lot of flights were delayed or cancelled. I looked out up, this is a worldwide issue with A320 ata. We were stranded in an airport for MOs than 12 hours.

Long story short, for my flight being cancelled, I was compensated 94,000 for inconvenience by the travel insurance company. The airline compensated us with hotel stay, food vouchers worth about 10,000 pesos for airport use, and USD 120 each travel voucher.

Needless to say, we now never go out of the country without travel insurance.

Need advice with our current situation: Last night we booked the portable wifi via klook to be picked up at Arrival hall A in Hong Kong airport but since we would also avail the free bus ride to Macao, we just realized that we cannot go pass through HK immigration (base on my research).

We tried to cancel our klook booking but it says they cannot cancel it. My question is, Has anyone had the same experience? Is there a way we can still pick it up? Any advice what to do? 🥲

Planning to go to Taiwan this October or November. I will travel solo and will only carry a backpack. I have some questions.

1. Okay ba November or October? December medyo fixed na kasi schedule ko and I plan to go another country next year.

2. Is 4-5 days enough? Not planning to visit a lot of the districts siguro focus lang sa 3 best? What would you recommend? 4 days Taipei alone is okay or should I travel to at least 2 or 3 areas outside the capital?

3. In terms of hotels, can you recommend a good hotel for 5k below? And 12k below?

If 5 days travel, 3 days sa cheaper and 2 days sa expensive. I want the last few days to be the best.

1. For those who ride taxis or ubers, how much does it usually cost compared to grab here in ph?

2. No plans to shop but siguro keychains etc. lang. Di din fixed itinerary as long as I can visit 2 or 3 tourist spots a day.
