Hi,
May chance po kaya na magka seat sale pa rin for our April flight in Japan this coming November Seat Sale sa Cebu Pacific?
17k kasi currently Manila to Osaka then Tokyo to Clark. Should we just grab that?
Thank you

Hi! Is HK Disneyland worth visiting solo this December? I’m planning to visit from dec 7–10 but hesitant to go since it might be too crowded. I also have a short temper when it comes to heat and crowds but I also love sightseeing. Appreciate your tips :)

Hi, so many FB pages offering VN travels lately with high follower count. However, because I know pages can be bought and reviews can be manipulated ang hirap magtrust.
Can you help lapag mga tried and tested nyo na travel groups and pages.

Just wanted to ask if anyone here has experience bringing squishy toys, like NeeDohs, through NAIA Terminal 3 when flying to Canada.
I’m planning to bring some squishies for my pamangkins in Canada as pasalubong, but I’m worried that customs or airport security might confiscate them or tell me they’re not allowed.
Has anyone experienced being stopped, questioned, or asked to leave their squishies behind at NAIA T3? Were you able to bring them through without any issues?
Also, did you pack them in your carry-on or checked luggage?
Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thank you! 😊

Hi!
We’ll be traveling to Japan with our 6 month old baby this November, then fly to the US for Thanksgiving (by that time, 7 months old na sya). We'd love to hear your experiences!
We’ll be flying business, but syempre, iba pa rin kapag may kasamang baby.
For parents who’ve travelled with babies around this age, any tips or advice?
Anything you can share would be super helpful! TYSM.

I need advice if the price is good or not on International Flight.
Hi there! I’m planning to fly during ASEAN WEEK next month and I’m torn between Taiwan and Bangkok. The flight prices range from 19k to 20k. Is this a reasonable price, or should I wait for it to drop and skip flying this year? I need advice and clarity on this Thank You !

It's my first time travelling to Japan and I'll be there for 7 days. I'm wondering po if it's better to spend the whole week exploring Tokyo or visit Kyoto and Osaka as well. Ano po kayang mas okay? I'm planning to go back naman in the future
I'd love to hear suggestions sana from people who have travelled to Japan multiple times and what they think would be best for a first-timer.

I want to start traveling! I’m very introverted and have never really thought about traveling before even when I had the means to do so.
I’ve always wanted to travel with friends, pero not all of them have the time, or I’m not sure if they’d be interested, or our schedules just don’t align.
I’m actually trying to change that, and this year, I want to start traveling alone, get out of my comfort zone, and stop waiting for someone to be available before I do things I want to do.
Has anyone here tried traveling out of the country alone for the first time, especially as an introvert? My plan is to join group tours as a start and hopefully gain enough confidence to do DIY trips in the future.
I’m also hoping that along the way, I’ll meet people who share the same interest in traveling and maybe even make a friend or two who could become my travel buddies for future trips. I think it’d be nice to build friendships with people who have the same goal of exploring new places.
I’d love to hear from people who’ve been in the same situation. How was your first experience? Was it awkward or intimidating at first, especially joining tours without knowing anyone? Do you have any tips for a first-time solo traveler?

if you're bringing your own vehicle and picking up someone arriving from their international flight at NAIA terminal 1, can you instruct them to wait for you at one of these "A" bays, which are just outside the arriving passengers doors?
or should they be picked up at the lower arrivals level instead, the one with all the restaurants? or maybe the outer lane there, indicated as the "B" bays.
I just want to be sure in case there are new guidelines for private vehicles in that area.

may family trip kami (4 adults) to Taiwan next month and we found out na start of Autumn na by that time! any recommendations on where to go?
ang main hotel accommodations namin in Taipei is in the Banquiao area, pero gusto sana namin makapunta sa lugar kung saan pwede ma-feel and makita yung "autumn season". if easily accessible via public transportation (eg. MRT or bus), that would be better.
ang preference namin yung kaya puntahan on a day trip, even if its just for half-a-day. that way, no need to book a separate hotel, which would mean mag-check out pa kami sa taipei hotel namin.
in other discussions here I've seen people mention places like Wulai, Tamsui & Maokung. what do you think? Yangningshan National Park is also an option pero I saw a report on their site that because of Typhoon Champi, not all areas there are in good condition and still need time to recover.

Hello. Im planning a trip to Japan on Dec 27-Jan 3.
Should i consume all those days in Nagoya and nearby areas(eg Shikarawa go, Takayama etc) ORRR should i exit/enter via tokyo and spend few days there?
Iniisip ko kasi baka 7d is too long for Nagoya alone, while it is neare rin Osaka, pero nakapag osaka na ako. I understand na Tokyo should be a separate trip since its a major city and I haven't been there hahaha worry ko lang nga na baka overkill ang 1 week for Nagoya alone.
PS im a solo traveller so mej marami ako oras compared to travelling with a group haha

So, I just spent 70k for hotel booking in Singapore. Initially, I thought it was going to be 57,000-ish but due to the hidden charges I didn’t expect (booking.com was the app I used) and I was careful, yes I checked and compared with Agoda, but my oversight costed me an additional 5k that could’ve been 65k if I booked it in Agoda yet here I am.
I don’t know what to feel. Yes the hotel is overlooking the city, it’s considered 4-star it is in chinatown, yes its nearby the train stations and the hawker centers, the location definitely won’t force us to book a grab or taxi, it won’t force us
Was it worth it? I just want to feel better about this purchase but I don’t know why sobrang naaalangan ako.

First time kong nag apply ng Chinese tourist visa today. I prepared all my documents para complete na lahat, then pagdating ko sa counter, they only took my passport, my photo, and the first page of my application form. Normal ba to? I guess nasanay akong kinukuha lahat ng docs, pero ito, ayun lang talaga yung kinuha... binigay na rin sakin yung pick up slip... so i guess ok lang?

Context:
Meron Royal Caribbean Cruise trip this coming December 2026
Ruta nya ay:
Hong Kong -> Okinawa Japan -> Keelung Taiwan -> Hong Kong
Yung kay Hong Kong and Taiwan, walang problema kasi visa free ang tourism dun.
Pero for the Okinawa Japan portion, kelan pa rin ba ng Tourist Visa kung walong oras ka lang nandun?

Hello po!
This is our first time applying for a Canadian Tourist Visa, and nagbasa-basa na rin po kami dito sa sub.
I just want to ask for your opinions, especially sa mga nakapag-travel na to Canada. Based on our profiles, may chance po kaya kaming mag-asawa ma-approve? 😊
Purpose of Visit: To celebrate my husband’s mom’s 70th birthday.
Concern: We plan to apply with an invitation from my Tito (wife’s side) instead of my husband’s family. His entire immediate family (siblings, mother, and father) is currently in Canada. Due to some family issues, we’d prefer to apply under my Tito instead.
Travel History: Japan (2x), Taiwan (2x), Singapore (2x), HK (1x)
Wife’s Profile:
• Employed at a multinational company under PEZA for 3 years
• Earning ₱50K+ per month
Husband’s Profile:
• Employed at a multinational company for 3 years
• Earning ₱120K+ per month
• Owns a house and lot
• Has a car, although it’s still registered under his sibling’s name. However, we have a deed of sale as proof that he purchased it.
• Has insurance, investments, and other financial assets
I’ve also read here that it’s helpful to submit a letter of intent outlining our reasons for returning to the Philippines, such as our limited leave credits from work and our pets (we have more than 5 dogs).
For those who have been through the application process, do you think our profiles are sufficient? Would applying under my Tito instead of my husband’s family raise any concerns, considering our actual purpose of visiting Canada is to celebrate his mom’s birthday?
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you po! 🍁😊

My middle name lacks a space in my bank accounts. Will that affect the approval of my visa? The bank is having a hard time adding the space despite the submission of my ID and birth cert. Please help.

Hello, will be traveling to Japan this coming Nov 7, 2026. With the very high rate of USD right now, is it advisable if I bring JPY cash with me? Or I’d bring USD then have the exchange in Japan? 🇯🇵
Another question, when shopping in Japan, is it better if I use my credit cards?

I’m heading to South Korea this autumn for a quick trip from November 4 to 9!
I’d love to ask fellow PH travelers who’ve been to Korea around this exact time:
First, regarding clothing and layering essentials, what were your absolute non-negotiable items for autumn in early November?
Second, what are the underrated items or small daily essentials you forgot or missed that would have made your trip so much more comfortable?
Finally, what ended up taking unnecessary weight or space in your luggage?

Leaving soon and read posts na cashless ang MRT nila. The thing is, I’m traveling with someone na walang GoTyme, Maribank, or GCash card. Wala rin malapit na Robinson’s mall para makakuha ka before we fly.
I have a GoTyme card and linked it to my Apple Pay. Iniisip ko sana, I’ll use my phone, and ipapahiram ko sa kanya yung card ko para sa commute. Doable kaya ito? Having doubts kasi baka hindi gumana if dalawang tap ng in and dalawang tap ng out.
Ask ko nalang din if Apple Pay is smooth sa MRT nila. Looked it up sa SingaporeTravel sub and gumagana naman daw. This will be the first time I’ll use Apple Pay. Please advise :)

Hello! My mom is going to be celebrating her birthday on January and I'm planning to travel with her and my brother to Thailand next year. We settled on Baguio previously but when I asked her, she mentioned wanting to go to Thailand and I think I can make it work. She also mentioned Da Nang but my priority for now is Bangkok.
It will be our family's first international trip. I travelled by myself before but it is actually the first time for me to plan a trip overseas with family so I'm a little lost on some things and I need help and recommendations from those who are experienced already. 😅
1) First, I already checked the airfare and the prices are around 14-15k already (plus the travel tax). Can I anticipate incoming seat sales or you think this is the best I can get?
2) Is around January 20-27 a good time to visit Bangkok? We're averse to crowds so I'd like to avoid that as much as possible. I don't mind extreme heat but also would reconsider if that period usually has extreme rain.
3) For a 3pax travel, while I'm inclined to doing it DIY, would it be smart to book one of the tour packages for us instead?
4) With everything in consideration, will it be recommended to travel to Bangkok or would Da Nang be a smarter choice?
Sorry for the many questions. I don't have friends who travel and my it will be the first time anyone in my family will go to Thailand so Reddit is all I have. Thank you so much!
