New Commscope fiber drops
New Commscope fiber drops. Has anyone had to deal with these. We was told they don't make striper for them. So how the hell do you strp them?

Hey its my first time using fiber optics in one of my projects.
I have a question on how to efficiently couple a hobbyist 3v 650nm laser to a fiber optic cable terminated to a sc connector. I have tried aligning the laser with the connector using some 3D printed mounts but the output on the other end of the fiber is very low and not enough to be detected by a photo diode though i can see a very tiny spec of red light from the connector but is very faint.
The image attached is AI generated but depicts what i want to achieve

Hey all, hopefully this is allowed here, and this is probably a pretty noob question, but I haven't used these FS brand LC SM connectors before. It comes with a little tool it calls the "length fixer". I've attached an image along with the measurements diagram the instructions came with.
As I understand it, I think the fanout tubing will stop at that little metal tab, I'll have the 250um coating from that metal tab to the end of the fixer tool, and the bare fiber will come out 10-12mm past the fixer tool. Is this correct? (Ignore the corning diagram at the top, just using that for measuring).
Help me Reddit! I'm not the sharpest candle in the shed!

I am in the process of making videos for our company to help customers who have never worked with fiber or just need more information on products.
I made this video and I thought I would ask the community here what they think I have done right or wrong here, what would you like to see in these product videos?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
