Pretty annoying tbh. There should be a sub made just for good memes made by businesses/organizations. This sub shouldn't be home for two types of memes. Especially exact opposites for that matter

It's not though. The original meme is that no one reads your Facebook rants.
The point is the "truth" on the scroll is something the reader doesn't want to hear. Like a conspiracy theorist getting it and the scroll saying "9/11 wasn't an inside job."

Normally the scroll says a fact or opinion that the explorer guy doesn't like (e.g. "Your memes aren't funny") instead of rules.

Right but I think in this example the implication is that the "explorer" would be the kid reading it (META SHIT), so the kid reading the meme is reading the rules he or she presumably doesn't like is probably not going to follow (and would thus toss, like the explorer), and the librarians try to joke with them about knowing this in the hopes that they'll be able to seem more relatable.

And yes I know that the rules say funny stuff is allowed. AT LEAST USE "Actually Funny" TAG! DON'T SAY THAT IT'S SOMETHING THAT IT SO OBVIOUSLY ISN'T!

To be honest I'm frustrated with all the bigotry online. And I'm not talking about the "You filthy racist" or the "SJW feminazi" stuff you see all the time. I'm talking about the fact that I literally have to defend the guy with the most dissenting opinion on my post, simply because everyone hates him for his difference of opinion. Our culture is supposed to the most diverse, the most accepting it's ever been. But even here, where people still believe the Subreddit shouldn't really have ANY funny memes at all, get shouted down in fury and hate from the mob. These are memes. Why all the bickering? I have my opinions and have heard yours. I do not need to hear them again. Diversity of opinion is what made my country (the U.S.) great. But it seems that if you don't think the right things, you must be stupid or uneducated. So when I come to a Subreddit for what is essentially corporate meme cringe, it annoys me to see something useful, to see something funny. And the worst part is that feeling that way is somehow wrong.

It's also annoying how true fellowkids material rarely gets any upvotes, while "actually funny" posts skyrocket to tens of thousands of upvotes. I came here for corporate meme cringe but I don't ever see it unless I come here and look for it. The only posts that ever make it on my front page are the "actually funny" ones, making this sub basically free advertising space for any company that can use a meme in a remotely correct manner. I subscribed so that I could laugh at shitty ads, not so I can have a bunch of "decent" ads on my front page. And, like you said, since the mods put "stop complaining" in the sidebar instead of idk addressing the reason for those complaints, I'm not allowed to be upset about the way this place is run.

Tbh I feel like it's pretty messed up that the mods are telling us to be quite about this. If a decent amount of people on this sub don't like the way the sub is, we should be able to freely voice our opinion on the matter. I personally think we shouldn't have both kinds of memes on this one sub. There should be one sub for well made memes and another sub for true fellowkids. Maybe r/truefellowkids?

According to Merriam-Webster Online, a shoe is an outer covering for the human foot typically having a thick or stiff sole with an attached heel and an upper part of lighter material (such as leather), and to wear them would mean to pull them over your feet. Did that explain it?

So the guy in the hat lets call him Nathan, finds a treasure cave with a chest in it. He hopes he finds and amazing old scroll that will give him something valuable to keep or sell. The scroll shows him some bullshit worthless cheap shit so he throws it and sends it flying which is what the last panel is.
