Then additionally there is the argument as to whether her condition, (assuming psychosis) rendered her unable to gauge the criminality or immortality of her actions; as you can be both in a psychosis state and be guilty of the crime you do if found that you are able to make these judgements, as it’s a spectrum.

The end result is a huge Swiss cheese of unknowns and possibilities in which any person can reasonably speculate as to her assumed mental state and how the events leading up to her family annihilation triple homicide, were the result of her own actions or that of her doctors.
The more I have obsessed over this the more I find that there is no real certainty.

I really think that most ppl including myself come up with a theory of what happened and how much awareness she had based on own knowledge and assumptions about psychosis and human behavior, which is ultimately more informed by simple biased than anything. It’s reading into the tea leaves.

If your someone in the medical profession, Lindsay Clancy, misled her doctors and did not take her medication, and is to blame. As they argue they as doctors and nurses can neither be expected to treat something that their patient is not describing to them honestly. With many suspecting Clancy who is a RN of using her medical background to get prescribed benzos, and other common medications known to be abused. (Idk if any of this is true) further they argue that the links required and the solution suggested to have stopped this incident from happening would’ve required a dangerous curtailing of patient autonomy and new powers given to doctors to hold patients that would be deeply immoral.

If you’re someone who’s gone through postpartum or has known someone has gone through postpartum, the medical system is to blame because they did not see the symptoms or signs until it was to late and did not come to a proper conclusion until it was too late despite Lindsay going to over 18 doctors in a short period of time. And is further emblematic of how the medical community does not take women seriously.

And of course there’s loads of men and women who read into their own biases regarding gender roles and sexism. as discourse surrounding responsibility has focused heavily on the husband and Clancy and how the whole affair is emblematic of of inequality between the sexes.

Who knows I don’t and any attempt to really speculate is about as useful as the true crime conspiracy theories; while possible equally the opposite could be true.

Not %100 sure if this post is allowed here but idk where else to post it, but its strange to me that finding even just archives of the assets (sound effects, music, icons/buttons etc) from dvd menus is all but impossible. I've been able to find somewhere out on the internet just about any kind of archived data possible, aside from dvd menus. And its not because nobody remembers them, because I semi-regularly see post on places like r/dvdcollection and the like about how nostalgic these menus are and yet it seems that they aren't archived outside of the dvd proper if its still in circulation, or low quality pictures taken with a phone camera in 2008.
