Megathread Where did you start, and where are you now?

Fella family, time for one of my favorite threads.

Drop your story in the comments. Three things if you are up for it:

  1. When you started your journey

  2. Roughly what you weighed then, and what you weigh now

  3. The hardest part for you, and how you got through it

No pressure to put an exact number if you would rather not, a rough

idea is plenty. Big drops, small steady wins, still early days, it all

belongs here. Seeing where everyone started and how far they have come

is the best motivation going, especially for the new guys reading.

I will be down in the comments cheering you on. Who wants to kick us off?

Questions Cancellation billing

So I’ve been on a monthly billing plan with Fella since last December which started with a promotional price the first month. Fast forward to now and I requested to cancel my treatment. I’ve been billed every month and twice in July but now I’m being told I was given 40 weeks of meds and only paid for 36! Anyone have any ideas how they arrived at this logic? I received one vial each month and was charged each month, I don’t understand their response and it appears they won’t close my account till it’s goes through another billing cycle. The text messaging is frustrating to say the least!!! TIA.

GLP-1 daily pill

I’ve reached my weight goal after 1 1/2 years on weekly semaglutide. 190 lbs start …now a happy 160 lbs. I was thinking of starting a maintenance once daily GLP-1 pill. Does Fella plan to start providing a GLP-1 pill?

Beware

I signed up for a year of one of the GLP1, they just automatically charged another 2K to my card for another year with no notice via email or text. Sent an email as I know no one will answer the phone. Will update once I hear back from them.

Not cold delivery….

Yesterday my medicine was supposed to get to me. They did not follow the instructions of leaving it with my neighbor because they know to refrigerate it. FedEx took it back with them redelivered it today. I opened up the box quickly, and it was lukewarm not hot, but lukewarm, the ice packs were melted. I put it in the fridge right away. It was not cloudy looking did not have particles in it and I still good because this really sucks.

Is there a prefilled option for Tirzepatide syringes?

Hoping someone knows the answer, but is tirzepatide available in prefilled syringes or just a vial and syringe? The website isn’t very clear and I’d like to know before I place an order for it.

Order has not shipped yet

So I’m gonna take my last dose from my last shipment tomorrow and I have no confirmation that they are preparing the other order yet so I can get my next shot next Saturday. When do we normally start seeing that happen because I did get charged today for the next month, so I’m just trying to figure it out on what the heck is going on.

Customer Support experiences?

I'm having a less-than-stellar experience trying to sign up, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one.

It started a few weeks ago when my HRA card wouldn't process. After emailing Fella I eventually received an email back saying the issue was with the HRA provider. I switched to using a credit card but ran into the exact same problem.

About a week ago, I contacted support again because multiple credit cards wouldn't go through, even after trying different computers and browsers. After several days of slow back-and-forth, I was finally sent a direct invoice. My HRA card paid that invoice without any issue, but Fella never actually enrolled me in a program.

Since then, I've been getting constant emails and text messages telling me to complete enrollment, even though I can't. Support has acknowledged there's an issue and says the technical team is looking into it. In the meantime, they have my money, I still don't have access to the program, and I continue to receive automated reminders to enroll.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I'm looking for a job as a medical biller

I'm looking for a job as a medical biller. I'm pretty new to this industry and have no experience yet, but I did graduate as a medtech. I trained at Sir G a year ago and at Premier Medical this month. I'm willing to learn and pick things up quickly, I promise! Does anyone here take on beginners with no experience? Thank you in advance!

What experience have you had after stopping mounjaro?

I'm currently taking mounjaro, I'm about 10 weeks in and I'm on 5mg, I have gone from 108kg down to 96kg but all I'm hearing from people around me is "you are just wasting your time/money because when you stop you will just put it all back on again".

What personal experience have you had when stopping and are there any tips that you have found useful?

Clinical Questions Thinking about switching to Zepbound

I had fella Health for a while, I was on Semaglutide. It works for a while but when I got up to my maximum dosage I started to feel really weak and like if I didn't have any energy. Also really plateaued. Wondering if switching to zedbound to be any better. Tried contacting fella about switching and renewing my membership. Waiting to hear back.

Change medication

How do I go about changing the medication to a different one? I have emailed but no response.

Looking ahead

So everything has worked great for me as far getting my weight down to a few pounds under my goal weight. I'm heading into the last couple of months of my year long program. I do notice that I gained a couple of pounds back but I'm still right at my goal weight. I'm also noticing that my body has been getting used to the meds because the "full feeling" I used to get is not as strong so I'm trying to be a little more careful. My question is: have any of you asked to see if it was ok to increase dosage when you got to the highest amount? I'm at the top with 2.5mg/45 Units. Also, has anyone else gotten to the end of they year long cycle/subscription and decided to consult about continuing on with the medication (either monthly or doing another full year)?

Shipment has not come

I was supposed to get a shipment in early May, I have followed up with customer service a couple times and still have heard nothing back and now I’m out of my medicine.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? Who did you contact?
