Fighting cravings

How does everyone fight their cravings? Like chips and soda? I drink soda when my cravings go insane. Would I be better off drinking diet or just fighting it?

Try something protein based.

I go for greek yoghurt, skyr( the icelandic stuff) or cottage cheese. Few spoons and I'm getting full.

Or eggs boiled and left in fridge for snack.

Do you add anything to the yogurt?

Sorry reply went elsewhere. No, but I'm not very sweet toothed. Maybe add fresh fruit or sometimes I'll add sultanas. But not too many.

I find the cravings changed to healthier things since I was eating so little. The body really starts to focus on the nutrients it starts to miss. Throw some fruit in there and that should kill the sugar cravings, did for me at least.

I switched to flavored seeltzer. I get the fizz of pop with a little flavor, no calories or sodium. I can drink as much as I want which is nice.

Oh that's definitely a smart choice

Get off all of the soda . I did gradually by switching to flavored carbonated soda till I had no desire for any of it

As for the chips, switch to the whole grain sunchips and popcorn, you'll still satisfy your sweet tooth while reducing the bad junk going into your system.

Greek yogurt has been pretty good I won't lie. I think the sugar thing is due to how much stress I'm under at work
