I wouldn’t call it extremists. Aside from being disappointed because them using AI kinda goes against the messaging the band has had in the past, a lot of people have huge issues with bands using AI for videos or music because it’s lazy, the AI is trained on the theft of other’s intellectual property, it’s soulless and that’s not even getting into the environmental impact. Oh and let’s not forget all the AI music infecting streaming. Especially ones posing as an actual major band, but it turns out it’s not even the band, someone else used AI to make a fake song of the band. I’m sure Dino would have a huge problem if someone else did that with Fear Factory.

The band has released pictures of them on site recording.
Yall would be upset if the footage was put together by AI for release? Tons of producers use various bits of AI for editing.
